I really wanted th to lose. This would have made the perfect weekend. We will still be ranked higher though. I can lie with it.
That's why u have to run right at them. Can't run side to side or throw that quick pass to the side. Either run straight up or throw deep.
Exactly. That's the only way to attack their defense. Bama got away from that too early and too often. I really think Arkansas may have the best chance to beat them before the Egg Bowl. And that's going to be a huge game with very high stakes for both teams.
Didn't watch much but Tamu dominated the stats. 90 plays to OM 56 plays. Not sure how much came after game was decided.
Yep gotta give them credit. They are a good team and they have a lot of speed on defense. The egg bowl is going to be crazy!
The one thing Auburn doesn't do well, run the ball up the middle, is the one thing UM's defense has some trouble defending. But yeah, Auburn's definitely got a chance to win that game. I just think Arkansas is going to run the ball down their throats and they're not going to be able to stop it.
Edit: Just checked the stats. Only halfway watched the game, if that much. Didn't realize A&M had 400 yards passing on them. Yeah, Auburn's going to give their defense fits. And Auburn's defense is in a completely different class than A&M's.

We rotate 3 complete defensive lines, 3 deep at MLB and 3 deep at stinger, and despite missing 3 big contributors (1 starter) in the secondary for the entire season, many people are claiming we have the best in the country. Where are we not deep on defense?

Our run defense looked lightyears better yesterday. We gave up a ton of yards underneath because we knew the big play would let them back in the game, so I can't really argue with the strategy. Option running teams worry me, so both you and Auburn will be tough. I'm not sure Brandon Allen can pass on our secondary so I think selling out to stop the run will work against Arky. Genuinely hoping for an undefeated Egg Bowl.
aTm tried running it right at us. They were unsuccessful. Since early on the DL has done a better job of clogging the middle and making you try to bounce it. Problem is the rest of the D is too fast and won't let you get much once you bounce it.
Auburn, arkansas, and state are the best rushing teams in the west. Om will be tested.
The speed Ole Miss has on defense is crazy good and they will hit your *** too. The only other teams I have seen that come close are Auburn and us.
The still have a problem running the ball unless it is Bo, but right now Bo is playing pretty damned good as well.

I actually think he's gotten progressively more conservative as the season wears on. I think he likes the defense enough to shelve some of his creativeness.
