Right now, Texas A&M is in first place. For A&M to hold on to it, the following has to happen:

Louisville has to be the first team eliminated in Omaha.
Indiana has to beat Louisville, then be eliminated in the next two games.
Mississippi State must play LSU for the CWS title.

UCLA, Louisville, Indiana, and North Carolina are the only teams that can catch A&M:

UCLA has to win national championship.
North Carolina will win the Cup if they reach the final.
Indiana can win it if they win two games AND Louisville goes two and out.
Louisville wins the Cup with one win in Omaha.

Louisville won the Sugar Bowl, won the basketball national title, finished runner up in women;s basketball, hosted a softball regional and is now in Omaha. They deserve the trophy and the $250,000. But I hope they are the first team out of Omaha.

FWIW, here's the SEC breakdown:
1. Texas A&M
2. Florida
4. Alabama
12. Arkansas
21. Georgia
48. LSU
55. Ole Miss
62. Kentucky
73. Tennessee
78. Missouri
81. Auburn
NR Mississippi State (almost got points in tennis, golf)
NR Vanderbilt (will get 3 points for baseball)

If we win the CWS, we will finish 11th, 4th SEC.
If lose in the final, we will finish 26th, 6th SEC.
3rd place, 27th, 8th SEC
5th place, 41st, 8th SEC
7th place, 48th national, 8th SEC

Nyd bowl, cws, mens tennis in sweet 16 plus mens golf, womens gold and softball in the ncaa tourney. And our mens track was pretty damn good

Yes. Championships are worth double what second place is, and you don't get any points unless you finish in the top 10.
