I bought my truck from Vroom in February of this year. I recommend them. Great inventory of good, quality vehicles. Mine is a 2018, and had 19.8k miles when I bought it. The price was at least $2000 less than dealers around me for a comparable truck (same model, trim, etc.). It was a pretty easy and straight-forward process with no catches. I used my own financing from my local credit union, though, so I can't speak to anything in regards to financing through Vroom.
It took about 3 days to finalize the sale, and the truck was delivered a couple of weeks later. The truck came with a Texas temporary tag on it. The only issue I had was it took quite a while for them to send me the title after I received the truck. I think it was around 6 weeks, and I had to contact them and nudge them to send it to me.
I would buy from them again.
I love dealing with the DMV.***Thanks... One hesitation I have in talking with them is that they don't deal with registering the car and I've only had that done through the dealership in the past. How much of a hassle is it to do that on your own?

No big deal at all. Four of the last 5 vehicles I bought, were all bought out of state. Just take your entire settlement paperwork package they send you, down to the tax office. They filter through what they need and get it registered.Thanks... Anybody use Vroom or TrueCar or any other online car buying service before? They seem to have really good prices compared to local dealers but I'm guessing there's a catch somewhere?
Question here: if you purchase an auto out of state do you have to pay Mississippi 5% sales tax when you get you tag? Seems I heard this a few years ago, or does this apply only to new vehicle purchase?
Just rereading this and I missed the part in bold the first time... if you had your own financing, how did it take three days to finish the sale?
