Well here it is!! Carver is playing for the #1 Seed for their conference playoffs Friday night at home. They're only two loses have come to PLP and Community School of Davidson. This game here has the makings of either being a barn burner or a straight up blow out!! I've seen both teams play and both, while Carver is on a two game slid, they have the ability to play with MIC. MIC has a high powered offense and can score quickly! The Yellow Jacket Secondary must be ready because MIC can and will sling the ball around the field. I'm expecting this game to be full of excitement and alot of action. I'm going out on a limb and I'm picking Carver to win this one in a close one 30-28!!! Carver is returning to Glory and will get a playoff home game!!!

I think his point is how far Carver has fallen and just having the possibility to make the playoffs is an accomplishment.

Neither will East Surry. Have fun against Reidsville, Shelby, Hendersonville, Salisbury, and Maiden.
I dunno man. Some of these foothill fans are giddy cause they been able to beat watered down 2A Carver and North Forsyth teams the past couple years. Really think they arrived or something. At the end of day we still have at least two 3A championships. Got nothing to prove.
MIC will be too loaded for Carver as they have always struggled vs the pass even with teams with lesser speed. MIC is an all star team for that area in regards to athleticism. Carver will fight their hearts out to make it close though. Blackburn will have another good night. If MIC does win Carver should roll all over Prep next week to get to .500 which itself is a major milestone.
To see the Jackets playing for a November spot is just awesome all by itself. If Coach Griffin doesn't get Coach of the Year from that conference then something is seriously wrong. Won't surprise me if Blackburn gets all state or close to it at RB with his numbers. He's close to 2,000 yards and nearly has 30 TD's.

You make valid point here! Regardless if they win or lose this game Friday night, they will finished 2nd in the 1A part of the conference and still will be playing in November for the first time in 5 years. I concur that Coach Griffin should be the Coach of the Year in the conference. To take a team and turn it around from 1-6 in the spring and playing for the Conference title should be rewarded. I wish nothing but the best for them and I also believe that Blackburn will be able to get his 2,000 yards with two games remaining and especially playing against Prep next week. He could should hit that milestone next Friday Night!
