Just turned the TV on and caught the last few minutes of their college football preview show. Did hear Tony Barnhart say something about Ole Miss not making it to Atlanta.

Their BCS predictions: Barnhart - Florida/Texas; Tillman - Florida/Oklahoma; Brando - Florida/OU (I think); EA Sports - Florida/Penn State; Danielson - Florida/LSU.

AA - and let the floodgates open

Only way LSU-UF happens is if they split the regular season/SECC, but finish 12-1, AND EVERYONE ELSE loses one game.

I assume he had LSU winning the west. It is more likely for two conference teams to meet when they do not face each other in the conference championship game. Like Texas/OU last year. If Florida had lost the SECCG that was a possibility.

Regardless, LSU will not go 11-1 this year.

UF, LSU, and Ole Miss all go undefeated except for LSU beating UF, UM beating LSU, and UF beating UM in Atlanta. And I guess Ole Miss could lose one SEC game and any non-conference games along the way. But even then, for LSU and UF to meet, too many other things would have to happen.

LSU beats Florida in BR. Florida wins SECCG. It was all tied in with his wish for college football, that teams must win their conference to participate in the BCS title game. Mentioned how OU/Texas last year was a strong case.

Of course, he also had to look at Brando wearing a crown, so it could have been temporary insanity.

One other nugget I caught was they said Sherman was going to be the first coach fired at the end of the season because aTm is going to be really bad.

AA - wished he could have seen the whole show

That's right, Florida and LSU. CBS loves them some LSU, and they'll be all about Florida this fall as well. They're promoting what they've got.

I say UF and Mississippi. Remember, Tim Brando has Mississippi #3.

back in 1997, I believe, after FSU had beaten Florida in Tallahassee the last game of the season. Obviously, the BCS hadn't been established then, but it is an example of two teams playing the last game of the season and then meeting for the NC, so I guess it's feasible that could happen.
