Always liked Mccarthy. Thought he was excellent on RU radio back in the day.
I almost could NOT stop laughing at the fact that CBS is going to broadcast B1G games now with Gary Danielson and Brad Nessler. I promise this is not going to be the last thread discussing Gary’s ramblings and inaccuracies as we have had to listen to his love for all things Alabama for years. Brad is almost tolerable, Gary is not. You will find out soon enough. He is the Paul Finebaum of the CBS broadcast team.
I suggest listening to your local radio broadcasts with the TV on mute or catch the games being broadcast elsewhere. I also promise that Gary will bring up Alabama at some point in time with each broadcast. Perhaps make his ramblings into a drinking game?

Disagree . Danielson is good . That is the best college football announcing team out there. Cbs has the best music

He won't be doing Alabama games so he might do good work. Could be a win-win.
