Such a weak, bland, unresearched article. There is literally only 1 name in that entire article that has a realistic chance at being the LSU head coach and that's Hermnan.

If LSU fired Les Miles and ends up with: Lane Kiffin, Mike Gundy, Willie Taggart, or Jeff Brohm as their head coach, Baton Rouge would burn to the ground. Fisher, DaAntoni, Petrino, Shaw and Patterson are not leaving their current jobs to go to LSU either. Its like I posted in another thread, LSU is an elite job but I think they are going to get a little bit of a reality check if they think they're just going to cherry pick whichever Power 5 head coach they want.
Didn't read the article, but it's hilarious if Mike Find is on there. Why would they go back to Oklahoma State after they fired a coach they got from Oklahoma State?

I hope Coach O goes 5-3 but beats Bama by 2 touchdown. the fan base and boosters would turn on each other in an epic meltdown.

It would be awesome if they named O The Coach. He would take them to a level of mediocrity they haven't experienced since Gerry DiNardo.

Given Petrino's history of walking out on jobs, what makes you sure he won't do it again? But just so you know, the fanbase doesn't want him, Herman is who they want, but word is Art Briles is being hired as an offensive consultant for Coach O. The feeling is he has to win 6 of the remaining games, not likely, to be named head coach, that Briles will step in and bring his son with him as OC. Its split about 50-50 between the fans if they want him as head coach or not. I don't see Fisher showing any interest, he wasn't interested last year.

He led the Saints to a Super Bowl victory. Let that sink in for a minute. That's the Saints - the franchise that was referred to as the Aints - by their own fans for decades.

Comparing Payton's extension to Stoops' is like comparing apples to ambulances.
The last two years he was 14-18 and this year he is 0-2. Not extension worthy in my opinion especially at $9 million a year.

But he won Super Bowl. In New Orleans.

They are celebrating their 50th year as an NFL franchise - 12 of which were winning seasons. I've been a Saints fan since day 1 and I think that one magical season makes him worth every penny.
