That BB game was probably the most upsetting, infuriating RU game (any sport) that I’ve ever seen. When you consider how important the game was, the team they played and the last minute collapse. They may well play themselves out of the NCAA tourney.

They aren’t wrong. If you lose to that team you don’t deserve to be in the tourney. Sad but unfortunately true.

I am pretty sure they showed the Harper shot . And since it’s cbs they do show march madness.
It was an epic collapse that may knock us out of the tournament.

Rutgers alums and fans don't fully understand how hated and despised we are by a significant portion of the NYC metro area. I am at a loss as to why, I always thought people loved and rooted for the underdog, and in college athletics is there a bigger underdog than Rutgers athletics? I never understood the visceral response to anything related to Rutgers athletics by what appear to be rational, normal people. I don't know of any other major state university that has to deal with this type of negativity, usually people are proud of their state school, even if they went to a private university.

Minnesota was the underdog and that loss was as improbable as Harper hitting the 3 to beat Purdue. We are in the biggest media market in the country. It would be crazy if they didn’t cover it.

Rutgers just being Rutgers. We are who we are. Never seem to find any success in the major sports.
