Dan that is all probably true, but teams in BE and B10 should not be losing home games to Central CT State, and if they do there fans do have reasons to be upset.Upsets happen. Our readers have to understand that. Fortunately to date the Pirates have taken care of business against a very weak non conference slate.
When you play games as we have, to the fanbase the team is in a position that if you take care of business it was expected and means nothing. But heaven forbid you lose a game and as you can see from the Rutgers loss they are being eviscerated by their own fan base. That's a lot of pressure especially coming off the season the Pirates had last year.
Let this team breathe and do not overreact to their first loss. The young men read this board and I wish they didn't. Because we adults should be supporting them through thick and thin. Meaning choose your words carefully when you want to criticize and don't be a poster that only comes here when the ship is sinking. That a person with an agenda.
Central Connecticut also won at Boston CollegeDan that is all probably true, but teams in BE and B10 should not be losing home games to Central CT State, and if they do there fans do have reasons to be upset.
Of course. And that's why I noted to choose your words carefully. Big difference in criticizing their play as opposed to saying they suck.Dan that is all probably true, but teams in BE and B10 should not be losing home games to Central CT State, and if they do there fans do have reasons to be upset.

We don’t all have the same level of disdain or even “hate” Rutgers. On top of that, our program and fan base isn’t positioned to be gloating at or about anyone else.I know we hate RU on this forum but we should be careful about gloating until we play and beat Central Conn State is all I am saying right now. We need to treat this game seriously.
I think I saw that there were 6K RU fans at Jersey Mikes Arena that saw this awful loss.
I don't think we will come close to that size of a crowd to this game. One can hope. It is at Walsh so maybe we will fill it up.
And a big thanks to the moderator or whomever fixed the title for me.
Of course. I can't imagine what this board would have been like if we pulled a Rutgers. Fortunately now our readers will be more tolerant as long as we represent against NCS.If we lose in the tourney, calm. If we were not 5-0 today, not calm.
They are now paid professionals making more in annual salary than almost all here. Everything is now fair game although I don't like some of the words used to describe players.Let this team breathe and do not overreact to their first loss. Be worried about the NC St fans!!!Of course. I can't imagine what this board would have been like if we pulled a Rutgers. Fortunately now our readers will be more tolerant as long as we represent against NCS.

I don’t boo anybody, except Tommy Amaker when I go to the Harvard - Princeton game at Jadwyn.I dont treat pros any differently. Booing the players you root for cause they are in a slump or made a bad play seems pointless, even counterproductive.
