Well the first year of the CFP, OSU got in controversially over TCU and Baylor and won the whole thing so we’ll see.
I think for sure Alabama can beat Michigan. Michigan’s offense will have its hands full with Alabama’s defense unless they get some TOs.
I wonder if this makes FSU think about leaving the ACC a little harder

The Big Two, Big Ten and SEC, always have an advantage sine they have more members involved in the selection committee.

The final ranking was my original thought and came around to FSU instead but I wouldn’t argue this. FSU without Travis is not the same team. If Travis was there or if they had demolished Louisville last night I think they would’ve gotten in.

FSU can’t beat OSU w/o their QB. I feel bad for the kids but this is the reason they used a committee now.
isnt it ironic that all 4 teams in will be in SEC or Big 10 next year...thankfully with the expansion of playoffs will let the games decided on the field...feel bad for FSU being undefeated and winning 2 games without heisman caliber QB and not getting in..

The committee chair is an acc guy and could not get them in. Doubt that would happen to an sec team if the chair was an sec guy and an unbeaten sec team was on the cutting line.
They got snubbed from the CFB, have confirmation the ACC is not respected, and are losing out on millions being in the ACC.

They should be thrilled it ain't Texas. Michigan has faced two teams that can throw the ball and could have lost both.
These playoff games are the least favorites of mine during bowl season. I love all the other games so much more. Way too much hype and commercialism. the new format can't get here soon enough.
