Would like to see the losers of these two games have to play each other next week. See the number of opt outs. Show how meaningless all of this is.
Bama hasn’t looked all that great all year except for one game…that’s why I felt FSU should have gotten in over them. I hope I’m wrong, but I think Michigan wins this game. This is not looking good for Bama
McAfee is a tool.Refs told McAfee before the game, going to let the boys play .
Bama better do something about that pass rush or its Going to be a long dayBama hasn’t looked all that great all year except for one game…that’s why I felt FSU should have gotten in over them. I hope I’m wrong, but I think Michigan wins this game.
A player on the ground is, by definition, a defenseless player.Thought they should have reviewed the hit by Michigan #44 for targeting. Looked like he went helmet to helmet with a guy lying on the ground. Has to be considered a defenseless player lying on the ground, no?
Agree. It’s about as defenseless as it gets and it sure looked to be helmet to helmet.Thought they should have reviewed the hit by Michigan #44 for targeting. Looked like he went helmet to helmet with a guy lying on the ground. Has to be considered a defenseless player lying on the ground, no?

Bad wording on my part. Take these teams out of the playoff and watch the number of opt outs for a 3rd place game. Essentially that is what every other bowl game that isn’t CFP is.Like the NFL's Bert Bell Benefit Bowl (aka the 3rd place game), which took place between 1960 and 1969?
I disagree that the CFP is meaningless. But I doubt most coaches, players, or fans would have any interest in a 3rd place game in CFB
Agreed. Harbs been building this team for years. UGA only team that matches up with them IMO.I said to some buds on the golf course in October that UM was the best team in the country. Until I see a team stop them from running the football, especially when the go into that heavy package, I am not changing my mind. I can’t stand them! Cmon Bama!
Yeah seemed like it would have had a solid season.Hidden Statistic of the Day: Alabama's OL has given up the most sacks this year since 1996. Definitely not a typical Alabama OL this year.
And he hires good position coaches...ones who actually develop their recruited talent.Agreed. Harbs been building this team for years. UGA only team that matches up with them IMO.
So you admit that dominating line play is important for success? It's too bad Franklin doesn't comprehend this very simple conceptUM is winning both lines of scrimmage…. Disgusting
No, no, no. I am constantly told on here that we recruit just as good as UM.And he hires good position coaches...ones who actually develop their recruited talent.
I thought that they did this because the two teams and fan base for the Rose were located mainly in Eastern TZ. the Sugar teams and fans mostly Western zones. In terms of the game yes it is backwards. I was surprised these games were on Jan 1. Mostly these games were played a few days before the 1stIt’s the traditional starting time for the Rose Bowl. Start in the sunshine. Watch the sunset on the mountains. Finish after dusk. Atmosphere and all that. I’m not sure if they’ll have to move it next year or not.
Which is why Saban is more than miffed. Halftime adjustments (a concept foreign to PSU fans under Franklin) should be interesting.Bama's D getting hammered by crossing patterns.
Making Bama look like everyone else they’ve played this year.Michigan dominating both sides of the line of scrimmage.
Sure something we didn’t see much of this seasonIs that what a wr catching a ball looks like?
Call Kaden Saunders!Sure something we didn’t see much of this season
Well he says they have more than enough talent but they’ve failed to show it…Call Kaden Saunders!

You’re so pumped to see these games and you end up seeing almost a carbon copy of our first half against Michigan…you must be so disappointed.I’m so pumped for these 2 games!
Milroe and Bama staff not recognizing scUM blitzes. Milroe trying be pocket passer. Bama did not get here based on him being stationary. Saban staff being out coached. the run option has not been tried.Saban needs to call B OB at halftime and say Bill, I’m going to hand the phone to Milroe. Please tell him again he shouldn’t be a QB so he gets pissed and comes out on fire in 2nd half.

will these bowls even exist next year? the playoff committee will do what it needs to do.
Neither Minter nor Moore strike me as having head coaching personalities. They are position specialists....and there's nothing wrong with that. Not everyone can or should be a head coachAs coordinators Moore and Minter have done a great job calling offense and defense respectively.
yet neither got a mention for HC positions, like they did with Diaz all year.
Bama doesn't have much of a running game.
