So, I've noticed some posters here saying things like, "I don't know if we can win today down in Florida" and "can't win without Fox" or "not feeling good about it today", etc ...and they are getting crushed by other posters. I didn't air those concerns today cause I saw the mob mentality, but I aired those concerns a few days ago. Anywho, why do some posters feel they can crush other posters for sharing an honest, realistic opinion on a message board? The Cats haven't looked great, it's a road game against a good team, and even if Fox plays, he's likely to not be near 100%. How are some having their fanhood questioned because they haven't bet their house on today's game? For those that are so positive about a win tonight, and have you bet your house or savings?

Because we have the same mentality as the Marines. We think we can kick *** everytime we step on the court. What's wrong with that?????

I have confidence in the Cats in most any game. Just don't see an issue about being a realist about this one.

I just don't get the hype on FL. They beat 3 dog crap teams the last 3 games and people forget the 2 losses before that, including a home loss to Vandy.

There are realists, pessimists, and trolls.

Realists are generally well received. Eternal pessimists are chastised. Trolls are (rightfully) abused.

This is a written forum, so it's all in how you choose to use your words.

I didn't realize UF was undefeated and ranked #1 in America with 5 starting AA and a HOF coach at the ready.

This is how a lot of you guys are acting....

Geez guys ,,,, You got to believe ,,,,

I believe. ...I believe I can fly. Maybe even I can touch the sky. In fact, I think about it all day long. Sometimes I just wanna spread me wings and fly away. I know I could soar, just gonna run through that open door. Yeah, I bet I could fly.

No. I think for a lot of us it's simply a matter of going on the road against a pretty good team, after sputtering a bit lately, and now not being healthy. No one here is saying Florida is a juggernaut (at least not that I've seen). It's just the combination of a few smaller things that have added up to a realistic concern.

Your Big Blue Nation fan card is a prized commodity...

Some will try and revoke it on a whim...

Reminds me of when I was a kid listening to pre game on the radio.
Caller would say, are guards are having trouble guarding and taking care of the ball. Our bigs are not rebounding. Cats by 20 Cawood. Lol
I remember looking at my Dad and saying, WTH was that? My Dad told me, we Kentucky fans are a different breed. Lol

Florida could win at home, especially with SEC Officiating, but I saw a bunch of people picking Florida to win in the prediction thread, considering Florida is 0-4 vs Top 25 and only 2-4 vs Top 50 gives me a positive feeling for my Cats who I rarely pick against.

Do what I do. I'm a fan on my terms regardless of what other people want. If I want to hate the skills of a certain player I do. I don't sell my soul to sports. It will always let you down if you do.

I remember when Cawood would call the game and bad mouth UK saying that they were sloppy, out of control and need to get their heads together and the Cats would be up by 20....

So, where's all the posters challenging someone's fanhood for being realistically apprehensive about this game? ...Bueller? ...Bueller?
