What's wrong with everyone? We should be fine. Everyone TRULY believes Smother's myth will hurt us. WE have options....πŸƒβ€πŸƒβ€πŸƒβ€

We’re not gonna act like Smothers isn’t a generational RB, either. Chambers will be okay without him, but he’s dynamic and they don’t have another Hollywood back there. All-due respect.
Chambers was a dangerous program before they won their 1st State Championship. I'm trying to locate the post where people talking about them being down because of the lost of Smothers? What everyone are they talking about? They love creating the us, against the world theme. Whatever works for you! AB (Aaron Brand) built that program, and Glenwood Ferebee came in, and didn't fix what was not broken. Which equated Championships.

Whoever is saying that Chambers will be down sans-Smothers isn’t being realistic. Chambers will be there. I just felt like Smothers’ impact on the team was being somewhat diminished in the name of Chambers being seen as still contenders this season.

Now, if I came across as one of those people, my bad. That’s why I wrote β€œall-due respect.” And the RBs will be okay without Smothers. β€œOkay” as in they’ll be fine and get the job done, but I stand by Smothers being generational and Chambers not being as deadly on offense without him. No one can argue that point.

Also, coaches coach, but players play.

Perhaps I was told wrong but I thought because of the transfer drama and CMS tightening up everything, many of the transfers that were impactful were going back to their correct schools. I think JC will be good but top five?

Not just lost of Smothers. AD gone, AB gone, Hackett gone, Ferebee gone. Great defensive talent gone. Avg. OLINE. transfer pipeline GONE.
They will be good but a decline is not out of the picture.

We definitely benefited from some kids coming home. I was informed a couple of Chambers best players, currently reside in the Creek area. They've been there 3 years, let them stay. I have no problem with kids playing where they want to play. It's when programs like Hough, go out and recruit an entire team and brag about how great they are. While winning absolutely nothing. You would believe they would be embarrassed, but they're not.
