Who do you hope wins it?

Vote will be visible.

Anybody but Duke should have been my vote.

I prefer Florida but think Auburn wins. Hope Houston has game of their lives.

They've never won one. People like Sampson. They aren't in our conference. They play extremely hard. Auburn is second to me because I really like Pearl and they've never won one. He was my pick when Pope was hired.
Samson has gotta be the best current coach to not have a title yet, right? What he's done at Houston has been incredible. Before he got there they were lucky to have like 1000 people at their games.

SEC is supposed to be heads and shoulders above the other conferences. It needs to be SEC. Otherwise all we will hear is crap about the SEC again all summer and fall about SEC cannot hang.

They were runners up two times.

I think it could be argued they had the best team of the 80's in 1983 and got upset. Some calls in that game and Lewis allowing NC St to rest.

Anybody but Duke, followed closely by Houston. I'm ok with Florida. But, Auburn has some players and fans that don't deserve it.

I think he is. He has turned them into a perennial power. Defense is so elite. Effort so elite. Shooting is better this year but IDK if it's enough.

They were good from 82-84 I think but didn't do enough to get best of of the 80's even though they had perhaps two top teams of the 80s. Gotta win it. Boy they were fun to watch too.

Houston would make for a great comeback and underdog story.

Sampson winning at what essentially is a mid-major after traveling a long road back since being canned by IU and banned from coaching college ranks.

That’s a big F YOU to NCAA, Hoosiers, and general consensus that says only big rich schools with big NIL pockets can win.

I voted Auburn because I’d like to see Bruce Pearl get the credit he’s earned for being one of the best before he retires (which is hopefully very soon afterwards, if he wins). I like Florida best as a team among the remaining teams and probably would have voted for them outside the Bruce Pearl factor. Yes, that would give them three titles but that’s still barely over a third of what we have.

I understand the multiple reasons why most people are voting Houston and I do like Kelvin Sampson. But I like our SEC teams. It’s also at least a little bragging rights and recruiting leverage if we can say all that pomp and circumstance about the SEC schools this season really did add up to an SEC title.

As far as whether another SEC school will gain leverage over us for recruiting if they win a title…. I think several of the SEC schools have recruiting leverage over us already because of what they are forking over in cash. And I don’t think any of them could compete with us if we paid the same. So I don’t think it ultimately matters whether their title count compared to ours goes from 2:8 to 3:8, or from 0:8 to 1:8.

I picked Houston as obviously if Houston wins then Duke isn't winning. ABD comes into play if it's Duke vs sec n finals but based on the poll question I picked Houston.

I don't hate auburn or Florida like some do but if it's one of them bs Houston n finals then Houston should be everyone's preferred champ.

I voted Houston but ABD would have been my 2nd choice. Sampson and Pearl might be the best two coaches to have never won a title so those 2 are my 1st two choices.

In order of preference:

1. Houston - no titles, don’t hate them, Sampson is due a title
2a) UF - two titles, used to hate them
2b) Auburn - never liked Pearl, his team are a bunch of loudmouthed punks

3. Duke - Because F em, that’s why
