Not sure on the details. Monroe County.

I wouldn't be surprised if this wraps him up at OM.

but it was a 5 star dui,

you have to replace those broken taillights when you are an Ole Miss player cruising through these homer MSU counties like Monroe county, this **** would have never happened to him in Oxford according to some of their posters. Once again MSU is at fault*.

Per the Clarion Ledger, it wasn't alcohol related either.

There is absolutely no way this happens, much less becomes public, if he gets pulled over in Lafayette County/Oxford. Police report would be changed, whole nine yards.

Youve obviously never dealt with cops in Oxford. Unless things have changed those guys are pricks and would salivate like Pavlov's dog over a football player getting a DUI.

Daily Journal
AMORY – Ole Miss football player Channing Ward has pleaded guilty to a DUI charge.
Ward, 21, of Aberdeen, was arrested Jan. 19 by the Monroe County Sheriff Department, and in court on Wednesday he entered a plea of guilty to DUI other substance and to no proof of liability insurance.
He was fined $1,234.50 for the DUI and must attend the Mississippi Alcohol Safety Education Program in order to regain his driver’s license, and he must also attend a Victim Impact Panel class.
Ward was also fined the minimum of $216.50 for the no proof of insurance charge after later providing the correct insurance. A charge of improper equipment was dismissed after Ward had a broken taillight repaired.
Ward, a rising junior, played in 12 games last season for the Rebels at defensive end and on special teams. He recorded 21 tackles and 1.5 tackles-for-loss.
As a senior at Aberdeen High School in 2010, Ward was named the Daily Journal Defensive Player of the Year and played in the Under Armour All-America Game. Scout.com rated him a five-star prospect at the time.

You can't charge someone for possessing something that at one time had cocaine in it.

DA: Your Honor, we're charging Mr. Henderson for possession of not cocaine.
judge: how much cocaine did he have on his person?
DA: none, Your Honor.
Judge: dismissed.

Every time.

Actually yes you can. A swab of the container resulting in a positive sample is possession. Does not matter if it is residue, it is still possession of an illegal substance. Also can be charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Residue = substance. Law.

/whether it's prosecuted there or anywhere is a wholly separate issue.

My cousin is Oxford PD.....

graduated UM last year and now on the force.....you wouldn't believe the stories he has told me about marshall henderson....

to make it short and sweet, an OPD officer lost his job for letting Marshall Henderson get off the hook with drugs in his car.

And to back up your previous point about OPD being pricks, he told me the prey on frat boys and sorority girls up there.....also said that a few months ago an off duty OPD went thru a road block and got DUI.....lost his job too....

they don't play around up there.

Technically you're right

But no prosecutor would take that horseshit case. And at least in Texas, a bag is not paraphernalia. Pipes, syringes, spoons, etc.

I don't see any signs of concern from the UM faithful even though there is a pattern starting here.

Henderson obviously loves the nose candy.... Kimdashian brothers obviously hang around/are friends with Henderson... Now possibly a little powder is found with Ward. Sounds to me that the football team have themselves a hookup with a felony record right on campus.

Maybe be there was some at the party on the recruiting party/sexual assault? Who knows.

But hell, if that doesn't worry them, it sure doesn't worry me.

I'm curious how you made this gigantic leap of logic instead of making the most likely connection....weed.

Reading in fuuunnnndamental!!

if you will read again I said possibly. Weed or coke. It don't matter. It's a scheduled narcotic. And you have a junkie that can peddle it right on campus.

But again... If you aren't worried, count me out as for damn sure not concerned. Everything is rosy.

Sure is a lot of negative **** going on here lately isn't it though. Ahh.. It's nothing.

I can attest to Oxford PD being pricks

They smelled alcohol on me at a road block, gave me a half-assed field test and tried to put me in lock up for the night until at the very last minute one of them realized that .018% was less than .08%. Then I couldn't even get a ride back to my vehicle.

Wait, so he pleas to DUI of other substance and takes an alcohol awareness class? That makes sense.

Not directed at you.

He is a junkie in MS but normal in Washington and Colorado?

My posts really aren't that hard to follow

He is a junkie in MS but normal in Washington and Colorado?

The junkie I'm referring to is on the basketball team. He just so happens to hang around your football players.

And furthermore nothing in Colorado and Washington is normal any longer. When you have a business, legal or not, that the bank has questions about allowing you to keep your funds there isn't normal.

And since it's now normal.... There are a lot of ex MSU players that is owed an apology from you UM faithful.
