Do they not have the parking deck open? Maybe a much bigger crowd than the past couple of years.
Game starting back at 6:49. Teams in field.

Parking deck is under structural review and closed. I get that BUT get the word out to the media where people need to park. Get police directly traffic and signage.
Events need to make all of the media a partner. The internet sites are good at getting info out with tweets and forums leading to word of mouth. Embrace it!

I parked about the same distance as well. I have knee issues as well.
Also open the whole lower deck to people especially since there were several elderly that can’t climb steps. I saw about 3 almost fall.

According to Doppler radar, around 8:00-10:30 a huge line of storms coming through. Hate to have drove here to see this and can’t but you gotta wonder if they are going to decide
Btango is Elizabeth Traditional/independence park not available for parking? Also is memorial now assigned seats?
JMAC, they can't play no worse than they did tonite. The Thomas kid played alright in pass coverage and Smiley played his Butt off both ways. I think they will get better with each game.

That’s the official statement. The truth is, it is not being played, period!
I am so pissed right now I will not post much but will do so later. The Director of the NCHSAA, Que Tucker, informed MC AD that the game must be halted at 11:59. No exceptions.

Tommy offered for the Creek to travel to Columbia on Monday. Mallard Creek declined. Butler on Friday. Game will not happen.
First off the parking and stadium situation was horrible. Part of my family gave up and went home because parking was non existent for the second game. Once the first game finished the crowd really started to build. They forced people on both sides to sit in middle sections and in the lower bowl. Some of us enjoy the higher view which enables a better analysis of the game plus some fans are there to socialize and not actually watch the game and I myself would rather not be near them. Overall a very poor logistical event which I am sure left a bad taste to the patrons.
On a positive note the energy when DF & Creek came out of the lockeroom for warm ups was palatable. They both looked physically like pretty much mirror images about to start a real heavyweight fight. Unfortunately we did not get a chance to witness it.
