I can't imagine Liggins denying OM. We need a 3rd QB very badly. This is confusing.

It's only confusing because people refuse to believe Liggins would choose us. We WILL get a 3rd QB. It's either going to be Liggins or Schuessler. I feel bad for the kid and hopefully he's still open to the idea of coming here should Liggins decide to go with OM because he will get an offer from us in the event Liggins goes with OM. However, I'm in the camp believing Liggins is coming to MSU. No I won't put my postingprivilegeson line, I just think the way it's playing out points to him coming to MSU. The longer he waits to announce the better it looks for us because no sane person living in Oxford would commit to MSU any earlier than they have to.

But its nice to see someone tweeting Bible verses and thanking his teammates. Appears to be a good kid, hope somethingnworks out for him if MSU doesn't.

I think it has a mini-Favre feel. If he does end up getting an offer I don't care to hear about his complaints on twitter like Dylan did.

I think he honestly wanted to come here and play. I feel a little sorry for the kid. Not sorry enough to free a scholly for him, but I hate he got his feelings hurt.

If Liggens wants to play QB in the SEC, by far his best chance is at MSU. If he was such a slam dunk for UM, he would have already committed to them. I wish so many people would quit obsessing over his decision and just wait and see what happens. We won't even have any idea if we'd be better off with Liggens or Schuessler for a couple of years (I still believe Schuessler will get his offer if Liggens doesn't come to MSU).

as to go into a season with his #3 QB being a true freshman walkon with NO scholarship offers from anyone and who isn't even rated by any of the major scouting sites (not that I think those sites are worth a ****, but for him to not even be on any of their radar says something). Nothing personal. I hope he does walk on as our #4 QB this fall.

Life sucks and it doesn't always go the way you want it to go. You got to roll with the punches, otherwise, you become weak and can't handle thecurve ballslife will throw at you. Stop whining about it and move forward. Seeking pity from people is what's sad.

I just think whatever pressure he's facing to remain in Oxford will be the largest factor in his decision.

if he's uncommitted, he's uncommitted. He wouldn't be the first player to not cave in to community pressure.

Also. they are going to simply wait on Liggins but I think with all the Bear pressure that is a longshot. Personally, we might be better off taking the big lineman from Texas and have Williams walk on than signing this kid.Schuessler sure looks like he can throw the deep ball but doesn't look like a spread QB.

1) Mullen was told by Liggins that he will come to state<div>
</div><div>-or-</div><div>
</div><div><div>2) Liggins has no idea what he is going to do, and what he's told Mullen leads him to believe we have a great shot at landing him</div><div>
</div><div>This also tells me, that Schuessler is a little ***** and is going to go wine to twitter. What else is this guy gonna do, when things don't go his way. He does remind me of Favre, but at least when Favre was in HS he actually texted Mullen himself, rather than going to twitter claiming he would get the ball in the EZ. And you know what, Favre got it in against ARK, so he at least backed up his talk to some degree. I doubt Favre ever started at MSU, but I hate to see him leave. The competition at QB would be great every year he was here.</div><div>
</div><div>I was about to come on here last night and post that Schuessler wouldnt' be a bad option, but I can already see he's a winey baby, so thank you Mullen for not giving this kid a scholly, and sticking to your guns whether it's landing Liggins, hoping Forrest Williams can earn a scholly at some point, or he's confident in some other route we're going.</div><div>
</div><div>In Mullen we trust.</div> </div>

the better off you'll be. We're only in it for the dramatic effect. I don't question our staff not offering this guy this past weekend. With today's limitations, these things are gonna happen everywhere. The thing I don't get is why do we bother bringing him in for a last minute visit if we don't offer? If he doesn't fit the spread, whygo to Georgia and recruit him last minute? It's going to be interesting to see what goes down once Mullen and everyone finally realizes we're simply Liggins' dramatic effect.

He's a high school senior that's getting caught up in the ebb and flow of recruiting that obviously seems to be disappointed. Granted, he did complain on a social media site, but it's not like his comments were outlandish. Cut the kid some slack, and calling him a ***** is a little extreme for something as small as that.

A chance to play SEC ball and we're his only real chance. And think about this, we came to him. We brought him in for a visit. Sometimes passion for what you want gets in the way of clear judgement when it comes to spouting off on Twitter but I'm cutting him some slack. If I were 17 again and an SEC school wined and dined me in for a visit at the very last minuteplus knowingthey were my only real shot at my dream of playing bigtime football, this would be a bitter pill to swallow. Not that I would tell the world about it though.

Ole Miss offer him a scholly, gray shirt, or invited walkon depending on how their numbers fall. It wouldn't be the stupidest thing they could do. They claim a lot of their current QB s either won't be there or won't play QB. In the meantime you would have the top ranked recruit from 2013real bother and "other brother" Nick on your roster.

This is an epic fail of a thread, especially considering that several are now reporting he's committed to State. What do you know, a kid's tweet may have nothing to do with recruiting?<div>

You guys are blowing this way out of proportion. I have it on good authority that Nick recently received the last season of The Sopranos on DVD. This was nothing more than his reaction to the last episode.
