OSU seemed content to let us try and run (last year and this year).

I think we're going to find it harder to run against Iowa. That front 6-7 is THICK. They have given up 1 rushing TD and 1 100 yard rusher in 9 games.

HUH? So, you're saying they were afraid of our passing so they played back? What makes you think that? We are the 1st team this season to rush for over 200yds. on them and you think they let us get that?

Hmm, I thought Maryland would do more. PSU will be the best defense we face.

More confident we can beat Maryland, less we can beat PSU.

They seem confident they can stop us without having to leave their cover 2. It's like they see it as a road to nowhere for our offense. We got 1 TD today in 6 redzone trips.

Some thought Kyle couldn’t be successful against OSU.

Don't think that's what happened. RU's effectiveness running the ball was a combination of an improved OL and injuries to some of OSU's defenders. If anything, they played the run more aggressively because any film study of the RU offense would have shown how one dimensional it was.

Well they kept trying to put 8 in the box and going man free or man press and we hit pass plays on them. They kept going back to a two high or three high look in response to pass plays.

Iowa also has a bunch of injuries after yesterday.
Per their Rivals page: Jones in a boot at halftime, Stephens carted off & Fieth in an arm sling.
