We need to address this issue. Whether you agree with me or not, cheerleaders are a marketing tool these days. With the amount of TV exposure we are getting now and the lack of TALENT we have on our cheerleading squad something needs to be done, pronto. I think we should recruit the 12 best looking girls on campus, put them in cheerleading uniforms and let them stand on the sidelines during the football games and see how many times they can get on TV. We are def. lacking in this category. If our school wants to have a competitive squad, so be it, but they don't have to be the face of our University (as far a Cheerleaders go) during football games.

Our spirit groups are terrible. There's no money in it, scholarship wise. The attrition rate is ridiculous. There's no underlying advantage to staying in it besides the "passion for the game" so I think they just get desperate and take sub par "talent"
we need to go and kidnap Oregon's cheerleaders! Is it just me or do those girls look like they are playing with a different set of attributes? By far, college football's best looking.
I agree. That one cheerleader that we thought was off the team being as she is overweight. She isn't, saw her on field last night
Also I might add, our feature baton twirler ( if that is what you call her) looks like Tobias' backup.

If we can't have cheerleaders that are a good representation of our school, they just need to get rid of them. It sucks that some girls are too overweight to be cheerleaders but that's the way it is. It's not a judgment of them as a person anymore than it's a judgment of guys as a person when they are deemed not athletic enough to play football.

Maybe if the school would get behind them. They get no scholarship of any kind. They have to have fund raisers to go to competition. But the athletic department expects them to be at every sporting event. During the Christmas break they have to get back to cheer a game.... It's 17 bs that they expect so much from them, and the athletic department gives them nothing.
Okay the 120 threads about uniform pipining and font and all that other **** I could just about digest, but cheer leading uniforms. Cheesus tap dancing Christ you do realize none of our games are on Bravo right. Maybe we can have Tyra Banks do an intro for us and instead of our players tripping over themselves we can have a full on runway show. It would be FABULOUS!!!!
