You guys should be proud of your Braves .... played a great first half, slapped us in the mouth. I was surprised to see Evans play. I thought he was out with an injury. Defensive game plan was excellent, forced us to throw more. We'll probably be thanking you guys for the wakeup call over the next month.
Cherokee definitely came out of the gate full throttle. Murphy seemed to be going thru the motions. Definitely a wake up call for the Dogs. I believe I heard Gentry telling his players they drank the "kool aid" and were guilty of reading all the newspaper articles about how good this team is. Murphy responded very well in the 2nd half. Going to be very interesting to see how Murphy and the other teams with a first round bye come out of the gate for the playoffs. Nov 3-Nov 23 without live game action is a long time.
The two weeks off might not be the worst thing in the world considering three of Murphy's four best players are all banged up to varying degrees. Not sure the time off is really going to help Slade's ankle, it's been a problem all season and he had an ankle sprain in last year's playoffs too. Hopefully it will be beneficial for the others.

Yeah I was really impressed about our 1st half just wish we coulda put another 1 with it and pull off tha big upset!! I already knew they was gonna get a chewin and a half at tha half!! That kick return was a key moment!! He don't have 401 wins from just takin it easy!! Good game Bulldogs!!
Lol, you struggled with Cherokee and you think you want to play real football teams? Smc is really bad this season. I watched Andrews and cherokee on TV and it seriously look like two middle school teams playing. Andrew had like 20 players. They put up a lot of points on Robbinsville and cherokee did Murphy too. The top two wmac or whc teams would smash anyone in the smc

I agree with this minus Reynolds. ACR already beat Shelby this year and have proven themselves at the 3A and 4A level. They shouldn't lumped with the rest of the WMAC

I'm just going to say that if Shane Laws had Erwin's roster this year, ACR would win 3a running away. ACR shouldn't have beaten Erwin, but the Rockets got the coach, Erwin aint...
