And he'd have been pissed as hell at the Nichols coach for pussing out on the Sunday game. I'm as big a Polk critic as there is, but there's no way he'd have handled this much differently than Cohen has. He might not have insisted on the forfeit, but he'd have been pissed that the Sunday game wasn't going to be played.
Cohen doesn't strike me as the gentlemen's agreement type.
That's probably why the Nicky State coach forfeited his masculinity & fled the country....because he's used to MSU being "a classy place to play baseball."
It always seemed like we led the SEC in rainouts and cancellations over the last several years. Was it bad luck or maybe being a bit too willing to cancel during less than ideal weather? Inquiring minds want to know.
