Still wouldn't surprise me to see the football team go its own direction and wear black for Auburn.

we actuallyhave people in charge of things now who understandwhat the 17 they're doing and how to coordinate a promotion. We'llwear allmaroon for theTrue Maroon game. The blackout will be another game. This gives us 3 special promotions among our 7 home games.

Black is NOT one of our colors. Plus, it's been WAY overdone by shools like Duke and Northwestern. I personally hate it. But, since it's only one game a year (so far anyway) and the players and recruits do like it, I'm in favor of having one blackout game per year.

It's the fact that the team is was fired up about wearing the jerseys that got the crowd fired up. The team is what got the crowd fired up, not the color of the jerseys.

If the team likes it, it's fine with me. I've certainly seen us wear worse. See the entire Croom era.

We wore the black vs Alabama. When, EVER, has State (players and fans) not been fired up to play to Alabama?

If wearing black is for recruiting, well then order up some damn FUBU or South Pole jerseys.
