I just keep hoping against hope that one day our effing system will be fixed. Yeah. Naive I know.
Because if this was you or I we wouldn’t be seeing the light of day for ten years. And probably rightfully so. Everyone says the courts only see minority colors. Nah. Sadly it sees only one color. GREEN.
His attorney can bite me. I know we have to have lawyers but damn if some of them aren’t slime. The kicker will be if they get dropped and Beard she’s the police.
I love this country but damn does it piss me off some days. Today is one of those days.
I don't understand how she thinks he shouldn't have been arrested. She literally gave investigators all the evidence they needed. She even described the entire event, in full detail, to them. What did she think was going to happen?
If they don’t have a cooperating victim, then it won’t just get pled down but likely dismissed. No chance of conviction at trial without her testimony.
That’s a perk of having one of those mega million dollar contracts. Once a victim realizes it’s in her own best interests for a case to go away …well, it goes away. It’s good to be rich in this country.

However there are passive abusers and it works in a lot of different ways. A D1 football coach that screams and is short wired doesn’t equate to abuse in the home. That’s all I was saying.
Being said on some Texas boards they think it’s bogus. The thing is it doesn’t matter, 2022. He’s gonna suffer for it either way.

Depends on Texas law, in some states it’s automatic arrest for spousal fighting/domestic abuse type stuff. I’d say wait until all facts are out before we condemn him a woman beater.

Yes, Austin is liberal, but I can’t believe anyone who’s ever spent time there would ever characterize it as a “hellhole.” It’s always been easily one of the coolest and most vibrant cities in our country.
