We all did some therapy, and we talk about it openly if we’re feeling a way about it. Sorry man, but Tech is not remotely similar to UT when it comes to getting athletes to their campus. Yes, talent rich state, but that is where the similarities stop. Texas is one of the best athletic programs in the country. Huge donor base with tons of wealth. Very talent rich state. Nice facilities, bice campus and pretty cool city. It's also in the big12.
Texas Tech is very similar aside from the fun city part. Considering 2 if his double digit loss seasons came post his E8 and Runner up seasons, that's not really a valid excuse.

Duke was 13-11, UNC 18-11 and Kansas 21-9 (lost the Big 12)
I would take any of those records over 9-16.
Add UCLA to the mix, they had 11 losses, but went to the final 4.

You're trying to act like somehow UK's 9-16 season is close, or equal to the others, it isn't. Not even close.
Again, nobody would be losing their **** if Cal went 29-10 and went to the final four. A double digit loss season doesn't mean you can't win the title, you don't even qualify for the NIT if you go 9-16. This isn't even a debate and you're only doing this to be argumentative.
