Doesn’t look good on the surface. 3rd degree felony charges. Some DA’s push for all domestic violence situations to be felonies. Could be an angle here.

It's known as Impeding Breath which is a felony that brings 2-5 in prison. If she required medical care, he'll do time in Texas. He's coached his last game.
Ex wives should be legal. It’d be a public service before the next guy learns his lesson.
If it was Beard’s daughter’s boyfriend and the boyfriend was being abusive toward her, no jury in Texas would vote to convict. We are rushing to judge him, cause I am always going to protect my baby girl, forever.
That’s a BS story posted by Texas fans trying to rationalize his behavior. Arrest affidavit says his fiancé said he choked her, threw her off the bed, left bruises all over her legs, and even bit her.
It happened at their home. Looks like he lived with a fiancé from Lubbock. Two hadn’t been speaking for a couple days, and got in a fight about glasses. She apparently broke his, and he snapped. Bite marks on arm and choked her.
Call came in at 2am. He left, but returned while cops were on the scene which lead to him being arrested.
Also possible he’s still in jail. Apparently only certain judges can issue bond in these cases and a mandatory 24 hour hold is in place.
