For those not on twitter..figured i'd post here..

E-Mail sent out as well they just want stadium FULL when ABC cameras come on at 8 o'clock.

Yes. Leave that for the West Point game where they've done it for decades.

But it IS a great way for the game ball to arrive.

I believe everyone was in at the start of the Michigan State game and it will be the same for Ohio State. After tailgating for about 5 hours, most of the tailgaters I was with were ready to wrap up and head on in with plenty of time to spare before kick-off. It will be no different this time. And if it's a little cold, it may send people in a little earlier than that.

I would say 70% non-students and 50% students - maybe a little more - by KO. Cameras, however, came on earlier (KO wasn't until 8:13 IIRC).

Student section was disappointing at 8:00 for msu. I hope they arrive by 7:45 for osu. I thought the rest of the stadium was pretty good for msu.

We need to do something to get students there early to create the environment we need!!

I'd imagine it's a tad difficult to bus nearly 10,000 kids in an hour (with virtually none of them tailgating anymore...). That being said, MSU was coming off an awful stretch of games, and this IS the #1 team in the nation we're playing, so I think it'll be close to full at 8:00.

Carlin needs to realize that for many people the game is secondary and the tailgate is primary.

Flood said today the team notices the difference when the fans are in early and when they are late arriving.

Kickoffs for these 8pm games On ABC are usually more around 815.

So I think crowd should be good for Kickoff.

it would be helpful to know what the special event was so I can push people to the stadium- one good thing for this game is that it will start getting dark prior to kickoff- most canopies and tents will be away.

Negatoid vs Sky is Blue Battle Royale. One guy from each side enters every minute. Last side standing wins the right to ban the other.

I had to decline. After running down the ramp I wouldn't have the energy to climb into the ring.

That's an easy one: kick the Middlesex County sheriffs out of the lots and stop harassing every youngish-looking tailgater with a beer or Solo cup in their hands. Otherwise, the students will keep coming over late from College Avenue.

The point is that the cameras go LIVE at 8:00, not a KO, so it's nice to have a full-house then not 12 minutes later, hence the e-mail and tweets.

I would say 80% to 90% student section was filled prior to kickoff. I have a pic where the 3 main sections are almost at capacity. Not sure how much the section 2 over from the band counts for. I don't know how to post the pic though.

The student sections consists of ALL sections from 132-142 (only the corner section, on either side, are NOT "student" seating). It most was not 80-90% full at KO.
