I witnessed approx. 7,000 fans walk out very frustrated when the Yeeting began! Boy they were mad!!!
We just complaining to complain? The Yeet thing is popular in every arena and stadium all over the world. WWE gave fans what they wanted and set it up for Brock's music to hit killing the moment as he came out and started ragdolling everyone. JC, guys lol.
- Elimination Chamber for Feb has sold over 11k with nothing announced. It'll likely sell out. The cheapest available ticket as of now is $240.60.
- Worlds End is next month with over 5k sold. It may get around 7k. The cheapest available ticket as of now is $37.95.
I give that info because I've noticed in recent months a wave of fans online trying to will into existence an idea that WWE is terrible for a number of reasons and everyone should start watching AEW. Well, that hasn't worked. And when WWE is seeing this type of ticket movement, the idea that everyone is being priced out may not be completely accurate either. One event just did 45k and people there seemed happy. People aren't exactly gobbling up those cheap tickets to AEW but they're spending money for a PLE in Feb. So if WWE is practically unwatchable, why is demand so high? If AEW has perfect wrestling and it's a fan's dream, why is demand somewhat low? Why aren't fans running to Dynamite and Collision tapings? This tells me that WWE is still somewhat hot and grades from ESPN or Meltzer's ratings or a YouTuber ranting isn't changing that. And people are still paying the prices TKO has set.
That's my overall response to looking online today and seeing wrestling fans act like they witnessed a holocaust last night.
