ain't no doubt in my mind Eva Marie will be carrying the chick strap within the next year. hell might be Sasha's WM opponent.
I don't doubt it either. I could see them putting whatever women's strap SD rolls out on her by Survivor Series. Everything I have read on her says she is a Vince darling, and one look and you can see two big, possibly fake, reasons why. I've heard several times that had she been any other talent in the women's division, she'd probably be let go. Not exactly a vote of confidence for her. It especially doesn't help her cause with me when this is what I associate her with.

That makes sense, I just didn't realize Brock had fully transitioned to part time talent. You think The Rock was clean last time he wrestled?

The problem wasn't she waited too long, the problem was she didn't kick at all. Who ******* forgets to kick out? Plus, that's the tip of the iceberg for her. Go to YouTube and type her name in, next to her theme, the next popular search for her is Eva Marie Botch. There are plenty of videos you can watch that suggest she shouldn't be anywhere near a main roster, and maybe even argue in a ring, period. Putting the belt on her and making her the highlight of the women's division because she has two huge, probably fake, titties doesn't help it at all, and completely makes a mockery when you just saw two of the best women's matches WWE has had in years over the last two nights.

Also, don't blame me cause you chose to watch it. My entire post was dogging about how awful she was. You assumed the risk pushing play. You were warned.

I know the women's match from Raw was awesome, but what women's match from Smackdown? You guys are referring to the the Natalya/Lynch match are you? I missed the first 30 minutes, and to be honest I wish I had missed the last 1.5 hours too.

Gotta think now they have plans in place to bring Nash in as the bodyguard. Like when he had the biggest pop of the night in RR and Summerslam in 2011 beating little Punk up, he'll make his return to the ring in 3 weeks.

Now do I agree with it? NO! I don't want him in the spot light unless he really does add to help a superstar getting over, but I'll mark a little if he returns.

The powerbomb and variations of it are becoming the new superkick of wrestling. It seems everyone has one in their arsenal now. Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, Appollo Crews, Cena will even pull one out now and then. The problem is Owens is the only one who has one that looks like it can put someone away.
Miss the good old days of the power bomb.

Krazy I asked myself that when I see a post as K Mac calling Orton the headlock master yet he marked for the king of headlocks Jerry Lawler.

BKH why was Vader never appreciated as he should have been in your opinion? Something I never understood.

you keep putting the disclaimer of "probably fake" when describing her tits like it matters. [laughing]
Only because it sucks having these Barbie doll divas out there who are only in that ring because they blew Vince or someone else to be there, or thought they were too good to do porn. Trish is the only example I can think of that was really brought in just to be eye candy, and ended up being a helluva in ring performer.

Don't know who to blame for that almost botch. Nikita didn't do himself any favors by not helping get into position enough, and Vader apparently just said to himself, "F*** it, I'm planting him."

Couple things...

Vader was super stiff and hurt some folks. Separated Nikita's shoulder in the above gif. Also broke Joe Thurman's back.

But then also, Vader waited too late to go to WWE. They wouldn't let him go back and forth to Japan like he wanted and like WCW let him do.

Yep. Japan loved them some Vader. Wasn't it in Japan that he legit got his eye poked out of it's socket? Normal man, this ends a match. What does Vader do? Pushes that sombitch back in with his hand and finished the match before going to a hospital.

I'm ready for Big Cat Fan to post some Nash power bombs.
Only memorable one of his to me is this one.

To be fair to Nash, and this will probably be the only time you ever see those words typed from me, that spot was Big Show's idea. From all I know on it, Nash was against it and had said he couldn't do it, and Show kept saying do the spot.

"F*** it, I'm planting him."

That's Vader's family motto, actually.

If he had went to WWF in 1992 instead of Yokozuna he would have had multiple runs with the belt and awesome matches with Bret and Razor and that's probably it. AS much as I would have loved to have seen a Bret vs Vader program, him going to WCW resulted in much better matches

Who is Joe Thurman?

Vader was under appreciated because he was damn good in a Bam Bam sort of way but only got top of the card run once for about a year or two.

He never fit the WWE "big" mold so he didn't really last. But his feuds with Sting and a few others will always be his prime/best years.

Dude could go and was a bad *** when he first steered getting on the main scene. The only odd thing to me was he was in a mask vs mask match or something like that, and he didn't exactly wear a damn mask.

Of course, when you're in the ring with the legally blind and criminally insane Stan Hansen, you have to improvise when your eye pops out because he might lariat it out of your skull.

KRAZY: Joe Thurman was a job guy who drew Vader at an unfortunate WCW Saturday Night taping.

Not pictured: A Vader Bomb that broke his back. I'm honestly surprised it wasn't the choke slam that did it.

I saw mick foley say something along the lines of 'when we were taping wcw Saturday night it wasn't uncommon for new guys to show up to the studio, see they were facing Vader, and then turn around and leave and quit the business altogether. And no one thought any less of them'

Not a chain match like you guys discussed a few days ago but along the same lines. I really thought Sting would end up out of wrestling going into this.

that was an enjoyable match to watch even though ya knew from the bell that Sting was winning. Did Race REALLY blade Vader's back?

I thought Sting lost that match. That's SuperBrawl III isn't it? If so, yes, Harley bladed the ish out of his back and the camera showed most of him doing it.

Big Cass is a big effing dude. Met he and Enzo at the house show earlier this month. He's almost the same height as Kane. He may not be 7 feet, but he's gotta be close to 6'10. Speaking of Kane, met him and Big Show for the first time at that event. Big Show is awesome. Everything I've heard about him being a big cut up and just good guy with the fans is true. Joked with the crew and workers the whole time and was one of a few that would take pics with kids.

Anyway, we were talking about Heath Slater and Vader tonight. Back when Raw was bringing legends in week after week and Slater was jobbing to them, I read Vader gave him a big seal of approval. Actually read in the same article that most of the legends Slater worked with during that run praised him.

Jesus. The gifs don't do it enough justice. Vader was stiffer than a 2x4 the entire match. Look at the splash to start the match. Sting never looked that mean doing his. If the choke slam didn't injure something, it should have. That looked meaner than the powerbomb landing did.

Vader may have won. Can't remember. I remember watching that match live as a kid and my memory told me Sting won but maybe not.

I was going off Cass' listed roster height his senior year in college basketball. Little used reserve, 6'8". Guess it's possible he grew after 22, but eh.
If my memory serves me right, Sting lost kinda shittily. The finish, if I am thinking of the right match, was Sting puts Vader on his back, but doing so, the ref gets kicked by Vader's leg and goes flying across the ring into the ropes, knocking him out. Sting then touches the first three turnbuckles and trips over the ref going to the fourth. This wakes the ref up, and Vader drags Sting around the ring as he wins the match.

And maybe Kane is shorter than billed too. All I know is the two are similar in height and tower over me, and I'm 6'2.

The Cass comment made me think.

Which former (or current) Wildcat basketball player would be the best wrestler?

My answer - BKH will hate me - 22. Alex Poythress. Size, athletic ability, dude is cut, seemed to be comfortable speaking...

You have to give Enes at least a thought/honorable mention in this thing.

Transy nailed it with Liggins though. Dude has size, athletic as hell, and dude talked more ish on defense than anyone I can remember at UK. He would have been a pretty good heel.

Just for size and strength, you gotta wonder if Boogie could make it too.

Jamal Magloire would be the kind of over-the-top over heel that would cause arena riots after sending the babyface to the back on a stretcher.

Isiah Briscoe. Just has the look, kind of built like Big E with his "weird" body. Even has the wrestling name all ready.

Eh... I can't really hate on any of it. That's a solid 10.

UK basketball playing wrestler... I'm going one of Magloire (dude punked a mascot, I think Toronto), Cousins, or Kanter... and I'm thinking this time next year we'll include Adebayo. Dude's gonna hurt people this year. 6'10", 260, built like a stack of ****in bricks. Big personality. Come on.

Agree - also Nash at 91 [thumb2]

The Harrison twins as a tag team might work.

Keith Bogans could do a helluva Hulkamania impression:

Switching it up a bit, how about this guy as a manager?

Load that rolled up program with a lead pipe and you got Corny before there was a Corny. Hell, he's already a horseman supporter from the pic.
