Well...there's this.
I just wanted to post this. Taz in ECW was maybe the best work Paul Heyman did as a booker. I thought he killed people.
As if the Summerslam show wasn't going to be long enough they have now added

Just because you can take the flip bump doesn't mean you have to do it every match. Except Rikishi. He can do it every time.
When WWE brought in the Rockers, the assumption was that Marty would be the breakout star from the team. He had a good match against Doink one time on Raw.

Her claim is she has a prescription but "didn't submit the paperwork to WWE in time" so her effort to gain relevance continues. I for one know nothing about her nor do I care to.
I had never beeen to any non-WWE show before last night. ROH was awesome. Adam Page vs Briscoe was great. It even made Page throw up. The main event was badass as well.
Plus, I got to see Shibata, Bullet Club and IWGP champ Okada.

How was Fish-Mark? Fish did a great job building that. I want him in NXT.
Hell of a match. Fish is great and Mark had the fans going for him. They had a cool table spot too.
Page used a noose to choke Jay Briscoe. That would get you canned in WWE.
One of the cool things was being in the arena before the public and seeing guys going over their matches and practicing. I had never seen that before. Super cool.

I think Nakamura was simply to send the fans home happy due to the rest of the card. They want a babyface with that title right now due to limited depth.
I;m behind. Haven't gotten to this week's CWC, NXT or Takeover. I did watch Impact because I'm curious about what they do with "Aron Rex" and Broken Matt Hardy is turning into a guilty pleasure.

Favorite example: 1989 Rumble. Six-man tag, Hacksaw and the Harts vs. Dino Bravo and the Rougeaus. They're putting the beatdown on Bret so Hacksaw starts up the USA chant to get Bret fired up.
Side note: Been watching a lot of 80s WWE lately and the Fabulous Rougeaus were AWESOME. Those dudes should be in the Hall of Fame. The All-American boys gimmick is so good.
Also, until WWE signed the Brain Busters, the Harts were on an entirely different level in the tag team division. Bret was so good that the heel announcers couldn't even think of ways to trash him. Too bad the Harts couldn't have been in WCW because that's the tag team division they belonged in.
I agree the WCW had the better tag division but WWE was better at the time too. I mean the Harts, Rockers, British Bulldogs, Demolition, Legion of Doom, Strike Force, Rogeau's, Natural Disasters, Colassal Connection, Bushwackers, Nasty Boys, Money INC and a few others to.

NXT isn't really that thin at the top now. Joe, Nakamura, Aries, Itami, GLORIOUS - you have give guys that are legit champs with just one month of programming.
Revival - DYI was the match of the night. I'm ready for them in a Best of 7 series; winner gets the NXT title, loser goes to Smackdown.
Bayley-Asuka was a good match. Asuka giving Bayley props after the match cements her as a face. Hope Bayley lands on Smackdown where she can be the main attraction.

Takeover was great. Revival is GREAT. DIY is GREAT. Revival may be the best tag team in the world; or at least the best tag team in WWE (and I love Alpha, but I think Revival is better than Alpha, not more talented, but better if that makes any sense).
So, the Dusty tag tournament is going to be an annual thing? Really, really wish they would incorporate some CWC things and let tag teams come in just for it - perhaps RedDragon or WarMarchine from ROH and the Young Bucks. Make it a true world wide/indy plus NXT tag tourney.

Alpha is like a Harts/Steiners hybrid - which is to say completely awesome, but Revival is pure Arn & Tully for this generation of wrestling fans.

So, is Sasha Banks the latest victim of The Dopening? Lost the belt and pulled from live events for the next 30 days.
Revival >>> Alpha just because I think Alpha's finisher is stupid looking.

The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) and American Alpha (Chad Gable and Jason Jordan) are two NXT tag teams that had a bunch of great matches against each other, with Alpha getting called to the main roster recently. Revival are great old school southern style heels, while Alpha is the big guy/little guy combo, except both guys have legit amateur credentials.
That was one weird match that drop in the corner from the top was insane looking.
That PPV was awful outside of Styles/Cena. Even Rollins/Balor was a let down.
Also, who the hell picked the order of the card? It made no sense at all.
Oh and word is Sasha had nagging injuries that need taken care of so apparently not a failed test.
