Stricklin and Waide are not telling people the cannot wear suits on gameday they are simply saying how 17ing stupid it is to wear a suit on gameday. They believe that is especially so when the school is trying to get everyone to wear one of our school colors. What they probably think is that this:<div>

</div><div>is a lot better than this:</div><div></a><a href="http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/f6a1642e643e4a9dc1d36b56b345b25a3880a316.jpeg">

</div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); ">I tend to agree. Wearing a suit to a football game is the dumbest thing in the SEC...worse than wearing a jersey! But, that is just my take. And, for full disclosure, I was in a fraternity too and I never did that ****. Of course, I wasn't in the fraternity long which was fine by me.</span></div>

Camo doesn't go well with maroon outs either. I'm yet to see any maroon camo either. People are going to wear what they want. Just let it go.

I don't care one way or another what people wear to games, but if our AD is actually getting involved in what certain groups should wear to games, I believe he has stepped a little over the line. Also, I think it is a joke that we have actually involved a political scienceprofessor enough in athletics for him to even be a part of discussions like this.

This will be my commonplace post to the rest of the threads regarding this subject, much like the uniform threads.

I think its very dissapointing that Stricklin and Waide have gotten involved in what people wear to games based on how it looks on tv. To single out frat pledges (all 100 of them maybe)for wearing suits without addressing the fact that every time the tv pans our crowds, they always show people in fat suits and camouflage. I too am tired of Waides repeated attempts toportraythis university as a book farmer (whatever that is) school. We are no doubt an agriculture school but we offer much more than that and to sell it short repeatedly is begining to get frustrating.
