Yessir i agree. This is second game in a row we sleep walked thru 1st half. We must execute second half to get this W. This is a very well coached team
Both teams have made mistakes but still been a heck of a 1st half. Expected no less out of these two teams.
My NFHS is being remedial but it sounds like Phoebus is in a dogfight.

Congrats to the Phantoms! The champions. Also to Salem a worthy challenger. A tremendous ballgame and fitting of a championship matchup. There will obviously be a lot to unpack, discuss and likely second guess in the coming days and weeks but, for now the fans got their money's worth and time to let it all sink in.

Salem came to play. I want to quote the prognosticator Kenneth Harris, "I will not be disrespecting the Salem Spartans." I don't know who would underestimate any program with 10 championships. The Hampton Crabbers, with 17 titles, have set a standard that all teams strive for. Riverheads, Salem and now Phoebus do not deserve to be underestimated. Congratulations to the Phantoms. Tried to tell #yall that it wasn't gonna be no 3+ tuddy win by Phoebus. I know humility won't be had or admitted but Salem was better than expected. Nonetheless, thanks Phoebus for bringing back to Tidewater safely for another year!!!!

Yep. I know I wasn’t expecting them to go deep again after that sack. Still though, need to back your guys out there. Who cares if they gain some yards on a handoff. And with salems LB corp, not like it’s likely they’d break a big one there.
