Give me your thoughts and predictions for C-2 Semifinals
SUTTON @ BRLD - This will be a game of two different styles of play. Sutton will look to grind it out and use their big size up front to push BRLD around. Sutton will be lead by their running power quarterback Cade Wiseman who has ran for over 1,000 yds but also have running back Garrison Perriorn who has rushed for 1,700 yds so far this year. Can BRLD stop the power running game of the Mustangs? BRLD has the best player in Class C-2 with Quarterback Will Gatzmeyer who can beat you with his legs or his arm and will look to target different receivers with Lucas Vogt, Jackson Johnson and the Dylan Butler. The question is the Sutton secondary fast enough to keep up with the speed of BRLD? I think if Sutton can eat clock and have long successful drives they might be able to keep the BRLD offense off the field and have a chance. I have a feeling BRLD is going roll in this one though 42 to 21 over Sutton. I just don't this the Mustangs have the speed to keep up with the Wolverines.
St Paul vs Oakland Craig
This will be smashmouth physical football game between these two teams. Which is team is going to win the line of scrimmage? Is it going to be St Paul the bigger and more physical team or will it be the undersized faster Oakland Craig team? St Paul is lead by their All State Running Back Eli Larson if the Knights can stop him they will be able to hang around in this game. St Paul running attack is just so strong that they just wear defenses down by the time the 4th qtr comes around they cant be stopped. The Knights will use their balanced running attack of Ian Lundquist, Jaron Meyer and Coulter. Thiele and Caden Nelson. The one advantage the Knights have is that you cant key on one back they are very talented in different ways. Also if Oakland Craig can get their quarterback Colton Thompson back he could be the difference if the Knights can hang with St Paul. I think the Knights hang for a half but St Paul pulls away 28-14 and Eli Larson cant be stopped in the 2nd half.
