And yes we had a bad stretch but Kodi, Steele, and Smith couldn't throw it into the ocean going 3 for 16 from the field but Kodi played great defense and Sid is improving every game he plays. The turnovers were the only bad thing we did and some of them were just careless mistakes but give the kids credit, they played with heart and we should all be proud of them. No way Benock should have played, he was in agony all day but it just shows that some kids can suck it up and play when hurt. I couldn't be prouder of them.

by 8 minutes left or the one where we scored 7 for the remaining 8 minutes. We should have scored at least 75 points. We were actually fluid with our offense until Stansbury decided to burn clock with once again....8 MINUTES LEFT.

I think the turnovers hurt us more in the last 8 minutes than anything else and some of them were simply being careless. I think we won, so I can live with any win and particularly with the short deck we played with.

Because we look like idiots out there when we stall. We really only have one person out there that is comfortable handling the ball and that's Bost although I will give Bryant some credit tonight - he actually looked comfortable playing PG.

Couldn't run with them? Are you really being serious? In case you didn't notice, Scotty Thurman is now 36 years old and was wearing a suit on the bench. There's NOBODY on that team that should scare us, especially in a run and gun type game. Rodney (can't spell his own name) Clark is nothing but a spot up shooter and I think Dee, Riley, and Barry last year have shown how worthless he can be. They have nobody else on that team that could match up with anybody on our team. Hell, even Wendell Lewis wore them out. He looked great against their pitiful big men.

We don't have the depth to play an 80 point game and whether you doomsdayers like it or not, what we did worked tonight and you are going to find something to ***** about win or lose. I doubt any of those kids who gave all they had are giving a crap what you think but I guess it gives you a great deal of pleasure being armchair coach wannabees. I haven't seen coach34 on here tonight so I assume he is drowning in his beer. We played great defense and rebounded a lot better tonight.

This reminds me of Celtic coach Rick Petino's quote "Larry Bird isn't walking through that door people....if he does he is going to be very old...".

But yes. Upig sucks. How they defeated Alabama is a mystery. But they shut us down when they denied Bost the ball and pressured the ball full court. We struggled to score tonight and vs Bama when they went to that defense. Looks like Stans counter will be letting Bryant bring the ball up and screen for Bost on the other end to get him the ball. Worked some tonight but didn't down the stretch due to careless turnovers.
