Since we're talking about Garrett a lot, and I think Moore was somehow maybe related to ex-MSU WR Davey Crawley as a cousin twice removed, I thought he should get a shout out since he was in the same class as Tyler and Garrett.

but it didn't work out for either at State. I've never seen either play but both were highly regarded out of high school. Maybe both Dandy Dozen along with Tyler Russell. I think Moore got into it with his Coach late in his senior season and was kicked off the team before the playoffs. The Louisville Wildcats "GATA" and won the State Championship without him. Garrett's path is well-documented here and I don't have anything to add except that I recall when Garrett committed to LSU he said that he would enroll at mid-year and through a quirk (my word) in the NCAA rules, hoped to be dressed out and on the sidelines for LSU's national championship game. As it turned out, that was Florida's year to win it all and I don't think he dressed for the bowl game.

I remember people kept saying this is the year of the quarterback in Mississippi. From his days playing junior high football, Garrett was already tabbed as a future great. I don't think I have to elaborateon what happened next. Moore was another great talent and had a chance to move on to better things. However, when you get into a fight with your head coach in high school you better make sure that several schools are really high on you and not just considering you. In his case, he fell off people's radar's after the incident. Hopefully the other quarterbackin that group, Russell, develops into something special and Mississippi has at least one of those quarterbacks succeed to the level that people had hoped while they were in high school.

Moore got into with his coach, or who was at fault- maybe it doesn't really matter, a player shouldn't do that regardless, but it does seem like Moore got himself blackballed totally after that.

I definately think that Tyler will be the best of the three, but it remains to what extent as he is already achieved more than the other two probably will at the SEC level this year alone.

I've never seen Moore play, but I did see Garrett and Tyler in high school. I thought then that Russell was the better of the two, but Garrett wasn't horrible either.
