Friday August 12 at Kings Mountain High School

Crest vs Newton-Conover at 6pm
Burns vs Cox Mill at 7pm
Shelby vs Reagan at 8pm
Kings Mountain vs Monroe at 9pm

Looks like we could have a couple really good games & I love seeing new teams coming to play in this Jamboree. Thoughts on these matchups? Which is the most intriguing game?

Probably Shelby-Reagan or KM-Monroe. I don’t know much about Cox Mill. Familiar with the school but not the team. My best friend and his wife live minutes from the school. No disrespect to Cox Mill but would’ve loved to have gotten Newton-Conover. They never got to come to RGS in 2020 because of stupid COVID. Maybe we can play them again next year. I am not sure who we have nonconference in 2023 and 2024 besides Crest and KM.

Gonna miss y’all too. Glad y’all started one. Glad more counties are starting one but we don’t need every county to start one or we won’t be able to find any outside teams to come play. 😜

I always root for 2a. But Shelby and Reagan would probably be a touchdown or 2 in shelby favor. Remember Reagan is a solid 4a team.

I think Kings mountain would beat monroe by 2 scores

Monroe won the game 35-21 to knock a undefeated Mountaineer team out of the playoffs. The season prior to that game KM defeated Monroe 35-20 in Monroe.

Charlotte observer litterly butchered the scrimmage list and has Reagan in the Mooresville Jamboree against Mooresville... There was no mention of the Cleveland County Jamboree

I do miss the KTC streams from a couple years ago. I guess some of the schools felt they impacted the gate.
