Would like to hear the thoughts of any Clinton fans on here. I have seen Clinton live many times and know its not a talent problem because they have plenty of that.

All I'm going to say is this, if Clinton was in a power run offense they would be undefeated. They have nice size up front, and some speed.

Back from my weekly travels!!! I hear that Clinton has the athletes in place but for some reason the game management, decision making and adjustments are head scratching.
Just curious if anyone thinks the previous regime bears some responsibility for the current state of the program? Seems the cubbard was raided and left bare when he left and it seems the pipeline from the sandhills dried up.
No, last season yes, but definitely not this season. The talent, depth, and size is there. This team could easily be 3-1
Agreed! Last years team was missing 6 key starters that went down to SC with the former HC. Team was full of bright young talent. There is zero excuse this year the team is loaded.
The coaching isn’t great , but y’all are over rating the talent in the upperclassmen. They’ve got some young kids that are dogs though. They’ll get better in a year or two, regardless of who is coaching.
Very true but they have enough that they should have won their first 4 games. That being said they are probably going to get the brakes beat off of them tonight

From what I have heard... the clinton brass took away the HC defensive calling duties. If thats the case I believe he is gone come seasons end. Losing your defensive duties and proceeding to beat one of the 3A east favorites is not a good look for someone. If Clinton can beat a team like whiteville I don't see them losing again till they play East Duplin... the rest of that conference is pretty average. If Clinton can perform like they did last Friday they might even give ED a run for their money.
I do think that the WHS coaches are scratching their heads asking what just happened?? I am happy for the team and I don't think that this game saves the HC job. There are several oldtimers like myself that want to see a change and we just have to hope the powers that be want the same thing.
