Right now guessing this game will be played Monday or Tuesday......still no official word school is out for the rest of the week and i see the team is not practicing if this game is played Monday you are talking about limited to no practice time to prepare no game planned install etc....also players have not played since Thursday last week so there will be some rust to shale off......tough situation for both teams to over come but im sure both will be ready to go......With all that the community has been though these past couple days im sure all well look forward to watching a good game....Sports especially football has a way of bringing us together.....predictions anyone??? Union keeps it close for a quarter they stay competitive but Clinton just too strong for the Spartans....Clinton 42 Union 7

Saw where coach Arnette posted on the Dark Horse twitter page hoping for a full practice monday and its wait and see mode......impact alot worse in Union's neck of the woods questions about when they will even be back in school

I was driving to the beach yesterday on HWY 421 through Clinton,and everything looked normal to me,the whole drive down from Thomasville to fort fisher I maybe seen 5-6 downed trees,course it's been a week since Matthew came through,are parts of Clinton still in bad shape? I talked to people at Carolina,kure beach and they said there was no flooding and never even lost power not even a flicker

Yes some of the more rural parts of Sampson county are still bad as far as roads go Union Elementary is still acting as a shelter I believe....no school for Sampson County Schools Monday......Dark Horses are practicing Monday hoping for a Tuesday game at the earliest

Just read where 4 Union players lost homes and many still without Power/water etc according to Union Coach Doug Burley.....good chance this one wont be made up this week....we may have to turn our attention to West Bladen.....Union game probably be made up the week of the Trask game

I hate to hear what happened in Sampson county, but there are far more important things than football right now. Thoughts and prayers to the people not only in Sampson county, but the others are that dealing with this still.

With all that being said ... Football might be the best medicine for this area dealing with all this devastation. Football is something that could probably give the people a two to three hour break from their troubles.

Clinton city schools will have school tomorrow with a two hour delay (atleast that's what I'm hearing).

Heard from a good source Clinton JV will play West Bladen at home Thursday and Varsity will travel to West Bladen and play Friday . The Union varsity game will.be made up Monday of next week the 24th at home and play Trask as scheduled at home the following Friday the 28th. and they close the regular season at Wallace-Rose Hill 11/4. This is tentative but there's really not much choice

Not sure if Bladen County Schools will be open this week. A lot of roads washed out, not safe. No school = no football. Three Rivers
Conference has four teams from Roberson County in it. No idea when they will all get back to school. Don't worry the NCHSAA will
work it all out. They treat the southeast like a " red headed step child " anyway.

Hey Wiz the Union game has been moved to November 11th from what im hearing since the season has been moved back a week.....so the Wallace game is no longer the season finale

Black River in Sampson/Pender got heavy flooding some Pender/Trask players also lost homes, not a great situation, however Pender County Schools are in school this week. As far as I have hear Pender @ Union will still take place Friday at regular time as well as Trask/Midway. Good luck to all teams
