Clinton's sustained scoring drive to start the 2nd half was pretty big too. Nothing but smashmouth there. I think too as you alluded to in the weather delay, our quarterback started finding his targets too
Our coach making the decision going for two on our last td was pretty big as well, not necessary but with the penalty making the ep from the 1 1/2 making it a two possession game and really later allowed usto go for a big 4th and 4 at midfield. If it had been just a 8 point lead we would have probably had to punt and not have that luxury
I was checking out this thread and planning on adding the link to Chris’ Stadium Project my self. I don’t know how much you guys over here know about Hughes but he’s top notch. He put the project together and probably knows 75% of the head coaches in the state if not more. I hate carolinapreps didn’t survive. I’d still be over there and not bothering you.
Got to give some props to the dogs. They put it all out their. Showed a lot of heart. So did the Dark Horses.
Both teams did, I'm glad the Horses won but if they had dropped this game I sure wouldn't have been disappointed in their effort. Same for the Dogs. It aint over; some conference #1 seed is going to draw them tomorrow and the Dogs will make their day!
That win and a conference championship was a pretty good way to start a birthday weekend for Coach Johnson. Just turned 30 today. He is on his way to having one helluva Coaching career.

2 biggest plays of the game turned out to be the fumble on the first drive by Wallace and the Kesean Williams interception. I said all week thag i believe turnovers would be one of the deciding factors in who wins this game. Kesean had a huge game last night offensively and made maybe the best defensive play of the year. And its amazing this is only his 2nd year playing football. Another perfect example of why im a fan of kids playing multiple sports. Stop limiting yourselves if your a athlete be a athlete play everything. I hope Landen is somewhere watching get your butt out there on the football field this fall young man

That would be epic! First time since 1998 if we play each other.
This may have been said already and I missed it but for Coach Johnson and the horses to win the conference title every year he has been our coach, 3 straight years, is unbelievable. Now with the Duplin CO. Schools moving on from us, we will try and continue playing hard against other foes. Congrats though to the horses, coach, and fans for a great modified season, but most importantly we aren’t done yet!
How old was the guy they did a moment of silence for last night? I was thinking about that on my 3 hr drive home last night. Very sad
Another thing, I had met Wizard before but I had never met @Darkhorse#34 and @Darkhorse04 . You guys were great, I loved meeting and talking with you. I honestly didn't think 04 liked me from our exchanges up here over the past few years 
. Im glad you two don't take the trash talking personal. I do it as much in person as I do it on here. I will honestly say this about the two teams I watched play last night. It was a good game, not great, but I don't see either beating Northeastern. It could definitely happen if we have an off night but Coach Moore always has his team amped up and playing their best come playoff time. Wrh held Clinton in check they just couldn't defend the pass. That QB for Clinton was better than I expected. The rb for Clinton didn't impress me, I thought Wrh did a good job keeping him in check. That one pass by Wrh for what I thought was a sure TD that got picked off was huge. That was an awesome play by the Clinton player. To beat NE your going to have to pass on us, your not going to beat us running it. That's why I'm most concerned with Reidsville if we were to meet. I'm pulling for whoever plays Reidsville, but I think that aside from NE they will have an easy path to the Eastern Cship. I don't think with all their weapons they can beat us. Coach Moore and this NE team will be ready for that duo of Pinnix to Pass, believe me. We are ready and waiting,and just maybe we can play them Friday

Rams offense is lethal running or passing. If you think the Pinnix to Pass offense is tough, wait until you see Reidsville's running game with its 230 lb running back.

Holmes based on score had no problem with the Eagles. Hertford might have been second best team you played and they were annihilated by ED last night.
I'm sure NE is a solid team but playoff success is many times based on match ups and luck. To say Clinton, WRH or any other eastern team outside of Reidsville would not have much of a chance might be a stretch.

Havelock could challenge anyone in 2A or 3A, losing to them is not a failure.
You know some not all Reidsville poster might need to respect other. We all know they're good we know the history but like Mike Leach said, That's last year!" Theres really not a barometer to gauge how really good Reidsville is because of who they play. They cant help that but sooner or later that may come to haunt them.I'm glad the DarkHorse had the challenge they had last night that challenged ev very aspect of their game against a really good tea, not ranked but Fues what, in the drawings today someone's getting a really tough draw.
I dont know how good NE is this year, I know how good they were in 2019, and they were pretty good, but for the most part no one in the Piedmont, west thinks anyone in the east is very good and that is a MYTH!
I would really like to see Reidsville play at Clinton. I would not mind making that trip at all.
Now, going up to Elizabeth City would be another matter. It might take me two days just to get to the game!!
