I just noticed that Ryheem is over the 1000yrd rushing mark with only 85 carries. The next least amount of carries for a player with over 1000yrd rushing is 102 if I'm not mistaken, and that's by Chazz Surratt (A Tar Heel Commit) who is a QB which is crazy in itself also, but I can only imagine Ryheem's numbers if he got the ball 20-25x/game. O wow.

Chazz Surratt is more than just an athlete. He is quite intelligent and his decision making on the field is top notch. Watched Surratt rumble for 258 yards last week and over 510 total with passing. About all those yards were straight up the gut. 2015 North Carolina Athlete of the Year and very smart kid. I would have thought Skinner would have got more touches. That's very low for run team. At 10 yards a carry for Clinton who needs receivers?

Skinner is probably not getting more carries because so many of his carries result in TDs. I would love for my Golden Lions to get to play him again...because that would mean they are playing at Carter-Finley.

Skinner isn't the only running back that Clinton has in the backfield. They share the wealth so to speak. Everyone gets a piece of the action and Skinner does very very well with his carries.

Im not sure but last time I checked he averaged 12.5 yards per carry; that leads the state with anyone over 85 carries

I remember our last game at Carter Finley.

There were a few games in which Clinton got huge leads early on in the games, so Coach Lewis took him out. It's a good move, you don't want to risk getting your starters hurt in a game that is already won, also it gives the backups plenty of playing time and touches. Now with the last couple of weeks of the regular season left, it's time to start leaving Skinner and the starters in for longer stretches as the playoffs approach.

The kid is good I have watched all his videos. I also like to share what me dad has always told me. Behind every great RB there is a great Offensive Line. I watched the videos some of the runs he was never touched. I just want to shine some light on those big boys in the trenches that do not ever get any credit. As I was one of those.

Good luck with state Ryheem Skinner. God has blessed you with great skill never forget and give thanks.

Clinton is blessed with a loaded backfield which is why he doesn't get a ton of carries, I was just imagining if he was the feature back and got 20-25 carries how many yards would he have thus far. I mean in the Smithfield Selma game he only had 3 carries. He scored on all 3 and had over a 160yrds rushing but still only 3 carries. Imagine if he had even 10 carries that game.

Actually, Surrat is a moron who flipped his commitment from Duke to carolina when Roy Williams offered his little brother a spot on the hoops team (he's not D 1 caliber) and a big time Rams Clubber featured the brothers in his dental ads. Just add it to the long list of transgressions that cesspool in chapel hill has committed.

We'll see. He opened his first varsity football game against the Panthers last year with 270 yards. He hasn't backed up. He's got a senior season and the rest of this season to show us.

As a Highschool RB, yes skinner is better, beyond that, who knows. Willie never got 2000yrds in a single season, Raheem did it as a sophomore and is well on his way to repeat that. Oh and if your argument is that willie didn't get a lot of carries because Clinton was loaded and he sat out some quarters because Clinton was so good, u just described Raheem's current and recent situation, so thanks for making my point.

Actually, all you did was put words in my mouth to make your own point.

I played against Willie Parker.
I've seen Skinner in person. I was so impressed that I reached out to the higher ups on the Scout Network to find out who was evaluating the kid and why he wasn't drawing more interest on the recruiting trail.

Now. When Skinner is making 70+ yard jaunts in the superbowl, I may relent and say yeah. Until then, I'll continue to let my eyes tell the story... stats are like a bikini. What they reveal is important, but often times what they cover up is vital.

What we're witnessing here is quite possibly the best running back in DarkHore history and that history includes 3 former NFL running backs who started for their NFL teams, not counting the ones who played in college D-1
Skinner's just a junior!
Wiz, i heard that Skinner is not eligible to play any more high school football after this year because he will be "aged out" or something like that. is there any truth to this?

What were his stats against Shelby in the state championship game last year? I was at the game and saw him get away for than early TD but not much else, if I remember correctly. No doubt a great talent.

If I remember correctly Skinner got hurt early in that game.

It's funny someone mentioned aging out. We heard this same thing last season about Chazz. Wishful thinking from rival fans I guess.

117 yards on 46 plays for game . 63 yards on first drive

Skinner 11-62 yards 1 Td... Special talent and seemingly a great kid

96 & 99 we fans haven't given him the greatest title quite yet. He's got this season and another to go but it's going to be fun watching him achieve and as its been said he's had far less carries than some of his contempories simply because he's not the only horse in the barn. QB threw two TD passes last night to two very good receivers . You know what that means????

Leonard Henry made AP All State as a linebacker in addition to his running back duties. Jarrius McPhsil is also in that equation
