If I'm reading the fine print right, the Grizz have to finish a game above the Clippers b/c the Clippers won the season series 2-1 and have the HTH tiebreaker. Seems unfortunate that would be the tiebreaker since the Clippers got two play 2 of the 3 games at home but nevertheless, there it is.

That would mean the Grizz have to go 4-0 and the Clippers 1-2 the rest of the way. Basically they have to lose @ATL and @Knickerbockers assuming they take down NOLA at home. Not impossible...seems unlikely they'd lose both when home court is definitely something to play for and they're just a game back of the Lakers themselves trying to get the #3 spot.

...but here's hoping.

and I couldn't make it work either without the Griz having to finish 4-0 or the Clips going 0-4. You're right. Gonna be tough, and the Clips will have to lay an egg on the home stretch.

As a side note. I just realized the freaking Pacers locked up home court for the first round. I don't pay much attention to the East. It's hard without League Pass now since it seems the only national games involve Miami, Boston, or LA. I've always though Granger was sort of overlooked for how good he really is, but damn. Didn't see them finishing third.

I was thinking the Clippers could finish out 2-2 and Grizz 4-0, but that would only get us a tie. Oh well. Still not out of it.

Too bad we didn't get screwed against the Lakers earlier this season. That extra game would have been huge right now.

The Lakers really need to finish ahead of the Clippers and avoid the Grizzlies in the first round.

...was the killer, I think. I saw parts of that game from a restaurant. Ugliness personified. Had the Grizz won that game, I think they have a real shot to pass the Clippers. Oh well.
