I got Varina in a blowout! I think the better game could be DRun/PGeorge. Jmo
They best game? Heck no. I went to the Monacan/ Clover Hill game and neither team impressed me at all. With that said Varina will win by 4 touchdowns!!! I do love Clover Hills middle linebacker #6 he’s a beast!!!!

Varina is going to blow them out. I still say Varina got robbed this year having to play HS in 2nd round. Deep run is good but if they had to play Varina schedule they would have lost those 2 games too. The message the VHSL is sending is play a weak schedule and go undefeated instead of playing more challenging games and risk a loss.
Don't worry Varina will blow them out. HS will have the toughest road to state championship this year than in the previous 4 years. 2nd round Varina, 3rd round Manchester, 4th round Maury/Salem winner, State championship Stone Bridge. Sheesh
Well, HS chose the schedule they have for a reason! To be battle tested! I'd say, of every team mention, HS should be ready for all challengers. Battle tested to the max!
I hear you but some of these teams have a good season but they aren't exactly football factories. To know that you are going to be a undefeated 2-3 years out is hard to predict. When Deep Run was making their schedule 2 years ago would a really good team have scheduled them? Maybe but I am not so sure. I agree with you that if you already know you have an official program you should try to schedule tougher games.
I agree bro. My team (GW Danville) played Amherst, Jefferson Forest, Dinwiddie, and EC Glass out of district, meanwhile Halifax played 2a Nottoway, a 3 win Person County, Park View and JF. We’re both 7-3 and Halifax hosts us on Friday
(they lost to 2A Patrick County).I got Varina but the best(where I'll be anyway) is Lafayette vs Norcom. Good matchups all over VA!!!
Dalton Collins is a beast, I love seeing him in action. He and his father are good people, I've gotten to know them over the course of the season. That young man is averaging 12 tackles a game! He is ferocious and tenacious.
