That makes sense. That’s why it’s called a “tooth” brush, not teeth brush.Did you know the toothbrush was invented in WV??
If it was invented anywhere else it would have been the teethbrush.

Yes. That’s the joke. That makes sense. That’s why it’s called a “tooth” brush, not teeth brush.
@ 5:00 minutes ............interesting discussion about loyalty to Penn state
@ 7:00 minutes ......... interesting take on the way Campbell will handle the NIL recruiting.
who said ,WHAT THE F***K WAS THAT? (the mayor of hiroshima)Assuming you are referring to Kraft (I haven't watched yet), I generally don't have a huge issue with some profanity if it is used sparingly and to really emphasize something. However, my completely unqualified psychological opinion is that people who constantly have to say "f*ck" have security issues. It strikes me as an effort to make yourself sound like a tough guy. Not to mention, it loses its effect if you use it every sentence. One other guy who does this - Bill O'Brien.
He’s pushed for this hire since the day Franklin was fired.I like Josh Pate. I think he’s typically fair across the board of his praises and his critiques. Having him acknowledge this as a great hire is pleasing to hear!
Some people speak that way in front of folks a lot younger than they are because they think they'll connect better with kids that way. I disagree with that mentality completely, but I see it happen at the high school level where I teach.Assuming you are referring to Kraft (I haven't watched yet), I generally don't have a huge issue with some profanity if it is used sparingly and to really emphasize something. I’m blown away by Campbell. Now I’m out of walls to run through.
He wasn't the only oneHe’s pushed for this hire since the day Franklin was fired.
You weren’t one, you were too busy pushing for Chesney, if I remember correctly. He wasn't the only one
I didn't say anything about intelligence.
And since you brought it up, most of the high achievers and intellectuals who accomplish anything the I've met don't tend to swear a lot, so my tiny sample size cancels your tiny sample size.
I will say, when someone like that does drop a well timed F bomb, it sure does get your attention.
No boilo in Carmichaels, that's a shot and a beer townDoes he mention Boilo?
I was, and I was wrong.... and I am thrilled that I was.You weren’t one, you were too busy pushing for Chesney, if I remember correctly.
Chesney might still have been the better hire, but we’ll never know. You weren’t one, you were too busy pushing for Chesney, if I remember correctly.
Of course who knows, Chesney may have been a good hire too.I was, and I was wrong.... and I am thrilled that I was.
Ok guys, who grew up right over the hill from Keisterville? Hint, golf influence with a massive set of ...No boilo in Carmichaels, that's a shot and a beer town
I admired Joe for his contributions to the university. He certainly deserves that recognition. I was also a strong supporter of coach Franklin and I'm very excited for the future of the program under the helm of Matt Campbell. Whether he is or isn't a Paterno advocate makes no difference to me even though he seems to be. Does that make me a 409er? Just trying to get s handle as to what that means.
Why? If Campbell can flip some guys, bring some of his players/receuits from Iowa State, and sign some portal guys, why should that take five years to recover from? They should have hired the best available BEFORE signing day.
It will take 5 years to recover from the recruiting loss.
You are certainly entitled to your opinion. I have no issues with that. I'm a loyal Penn State alum and fan of our past, present and future. We can be proud of where we have come and where we are going.A "409er" = anyone who got a "tingle-y" feeling in their pants 16 days ago when they saw Terry Smith wearing a pin.
Those folks know who they are.
We are going to lose portal players too. Trading psu players and recruits for iowa state players and recruits is a step backwards. Why? If Campbell can flip some guys, bring some of his players/receuits from Iowa State, and sign some portal guys, why should that take five years to recover from?
God forbid we rightfully honor the man that makes Penn State a “blue blood” and won more games than anyone else in history. Wearing a 409 pin honors Penn State.A "409er" = anyone who got a "tingle-y" feeling in their pants 16 days ago when they saw Terry Smith wearing a pin.

But five years? Come on.We are going to lose portal players too. Trading psu players and recruits for iowa state players and recruits is a step backwards.
The first year with a new coach usually is a recruiting bump. We are going to miss that.
The disaster you were all talking about last week didn't suddenly go away. We lost 25 commits. Everyone else can still add players too. We are not making up.the loss anytime soon.
God forbid we rightfully honor the man that makes Penn State a “blue blood” and won more games than anyone else in history. Wearing a 409 pin honors Penn State.
It's puzzling to me why people can't simply acknowledge the good that the Joe did for this university. Even if you hated the man.God forbid we rightfully honor the man that makes Penn State a “blue blood” and won more games than anyone else in history. Wearing a 409 pin honors Penn State.
You spent your whole life honoring him.God forbid we rightfully honor the man that makes Penn State a “blue blood” and won more games than anyone else in history. Wearing a 409 pin honors Penn State.
I took a second look at the entire class before they all de committed and I identified maybe 2 kids that could make a difference on a top 25 team next year. Losing the recruiting class hurts but is not a factor for the end product on the field next season. The concerns as far as that goes relate mainly to the players who run out of eligibility and the possible/probable portal losses....but honestly, I don't know who wants to leave this team after watching that press conference. I can't imagine any man on this team other than probably Rojas, who wants out.But five years? Come on.
And hopefully he can get some good portal guys that have two or three years of eligibility left.I took a second look at the entire class before they all de committed and I identified maybe 2 kids that could make a difference on a top 25 team next year. Look for his statue? Wait, I thought we are tearing down all the statues. You spent your whole life honoring him.
Should you be looking for the statue?
Yes. I believe 5 years. The rosters are 5 year window We lost a whole year of recruits. That is tough to replace. But five years? Come on.
Just because everyone else has the portal doesn’t mean anything because certain teams have way more success with the portal. If he can replace the lost recruits with portal sophomores and juniors, he can make up for that lost class.Yes. I believe 5 years. The rosters are 5 year window We lost a whole year of recruits. Doubling up next years class does not really work because the depth needs to be spread over positions and age groups.
The portal is the variable but everyone else has the portal too. I also see Franklin potentially raiding our roster.
Lost the whole year of recruits? Don't think the 2026 list of commits is nearly complete. Final number unknown.Yes. I believe 5 years. The rosters are 5 year window We lost a whole year of recruits. That is tough to replace.

I was in the Chesney camp but am really excited about CMC!Of course who knows, Chesney may have been a good hire too.
Indiana says hi.They should have hired the best available BEFORE signing day.

He did say it though yesterday. I was like, woah.Obviously, one thing we won’t hear as much is “obviously.”
Last 6 years he is 4-2.Sadly, #3 isn't really true. He is 3-6 vs Iowa, but has won 3 of the last 4.
