I really hate the way some of our fans talk about our players. I've heard all manner of rationalizations made by the supposed adults who post insulting crap about players. But there is no valid excuse for anybody, especially a fan, to insult a player that's having a bad game. It's childish, classless, pure ******* behavior.
But for some reason, they feel they have the right to behave this way, I just don’t get it. It obviously affects them but some of our fans don’t care.

Yep. I don't get it either. Are the "fans", who are insulting the players, incapable of empathy? Sure seems that way.

It's a free country and if people want to be childish, self-absorbed, jerks, then they should go right ahead. Just don't try claiming it's acceptable behavior for well-adjusted adults. That just adds clueless to the other negative traits they're already exhibiting.

I don’t know which narrative I like better…. Rock Fight or Pounding Phones.

If RU makes a RUN in the NCAA, the "pounding phones" thing could be a story line picked up during the broadcasts..
signs, copycats, 5 minute features, who knows.. every tourney has a few of these..
