Coach Gave to said, " he saw no difference in class in the Reidsville game" in the newspaper article ( Martinsville Bulletin ). What game was he watching? There was a big difference in class and talent in that game. Coach Favero should be glad that the Reidsville coach was merciful. That game could've gotten extremely ugly, very quickly.

So reidsville coach planned to only get 57 yards in the 2nd half? They score 50+ points a game, and all of sudden hes gonna be merciful for MV. If he was showing mercy he would have took the qb out after the 1st sack in the 2nd half. Can we get partial credit for the defense showing up in the 2nd half? Mv fans already admitted we have issues to work, and the offense was terrible. They got beat, but its 7 more games left.
I Will give MV a some defensive credit. The obvious mismatch was in the 2ndary. Reidsville WRs were just too fast for the DBs of MV . If MV can sure up that part of the D, then they have a chance at a winning season. I can't say but so much cuz my Bulldawgs have their own issues

Thank you.. lol that 2nd half was the only positive of that game. Speaking of bulldogs whats going on with pettway? I thought we would be hearing his name alot this year, they just not getting him the ball?
I did see the game... I just feel magna Vista lacks the "it" factor they used to have. They are very athletic but just feel they are not really sharp on either side of the ball. They will win the rest of the games other then GW though. I believe they will be in playoff form by the end of the season. I am not trying to dog them out because they know how to win championships. I just don't think it is going to happen this year.
Pettway is just fine. We have an O line that can't block my nieces and nephews ( age range 2-9 ) lol. No blocking, no time to throw the ball. I have to mention, our QB hasn't played football in 2 years. If Pettway had a seasoned QB throwing him the ball; his name would be all over VaPreps. Our plight is like climbing a mountain in a pair of stiledos. Just being real.
