I thought I made that clear. Jones sat down with the staff after returning from his visit and told them about every second of his trip- what he liked, what he didnt, what he was offered, info on other recruits, etc...

Jones was in the bag and never intended to go to OM.

Why did he lie to the media? He started messing with a girl in Oxford that was provided to him-he has a g/f in Houston and didnt want her to find out- so he lied and said he wasnt there...there's not many things that will make a 17 yr old drive to Oxford and get there at 1am- but ***** is definitely one of them.

Believe me or dont- up to you. I'm just telling ya what happened.

much ado about nothing- we thought we had Alexander so we were making room. He was going to be the cherry on top for IT. We didnt get our cherry. I just think it's funny as **** all you guys getting torqued on it-especially Center Z's ***** ***

I think T-man just decided to stay home because of Daddy issues, don't think it really had anything to do with making room. Those around our coaches said that Alexander did not inform our coaches of anything before he announced and that the feeling is normally that when the coaches don't know it means the player is not coming.

You guys need to figure out that C34 can multitask. He has connections, and like all connections, they are right sometimes and wrong sometimes.

Not flaming, just want to make sure I understand: The top secret info last week was that Jones had come back from Oxford and shared all the dirt with our coaching staff? And I guess that the reason you said at that time that this was not the case, and the reason that Cadaver said that it was about him convincing another recruit to come aboard, was that you didn’t want to give this away to the Bears while the undercover ops were still afoot? Plausible, but I don’t believe it. I can certainly believe that they threw the kitchen sink at him and his parents, but I don’t believe that the OV was some premeditated plot to gather dirt.

As for the trips to Oxford this past weekend, it is also plausible that he went there to take advantage of the free sex being thrown his way. I don’t doubt for a second that that happened. But it’s also clear that his mother DID ALSO go to Oxford and meet with Freeze and the other coaches (that IS her in that photo). So clearly that whole trip was about more than just 17ing some OM *****. I could believe that was all there was to it if he was the only one to make the trip, but he wasn’t.

Most likely scenario is that the guy really was tempted by OM and all that was most certainly thrown his way (sex, money, etc.), but in the end, he decided to stick with MSU, and his momma probably had a little something to do with that. Whatever, I’m just glad he ended up with us. It would’ve been an absolute disaster to have them steal yet another high profile commit from us at the 11th hour.
