My nephew has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, his mom and dad have done 2 events so far this football season at two local high schools and have managed to raise over $8,000. I have thought it would be a good idea to have a tent out by the junction at the home game that is closest to the national date. To help raise awareness and to bring in some extra funds to help research. There is no cure for MD! These boys are born with a life expectancy of 25 years. But! there is some very promising medicines on the horizion that way be able to extend that time frame and that is what we are all hoping for. So please take the time and do what you can to help the guys out! My nephew, Charlie, loves some MSU football, I got Coach Mullen to sign him a GTHOM hat this year, and had him put on it "To Charlie MD sucks"!
