Yeah, that was a little hyperbole. I'm mainly talking about Coach34 saying that Russell won't be good, Relf will totally take over as our primary QB, and Favre is better than Russell, blah blah blah. Russell is not going anywhere. It looks as though everyone's apprehension about him was completely unfounded.

I think Relf just has that experience Tyler does not have and should be the starter. One thing some believe is that Tyler is not very mobile....he is better on his feet than given credit for.</p>

Plus, he already looks more comfortable in the pocket than any State QB I can remember.That 3rd-and-11 to Heavens when the pocket broke down was a thing of beauty.

And Coach34, I know it's Memphis. But tell me the last time a QB for us put up these numbers against anybody. You have to admit, he looks fantastic right now. And that's the reason you and everyone else who freaked out about how bad Russell looked without any evidence are idiots.
