7. Neal Brown, West Virginia > We are not quite sure what West Virginia expected out of Neal Brown when they hired him 4 seasons ago but it can’t be this >

That 20 – 24 is a .455 Winning % and the last WVU Head Coach Dana Holgorsen posted a….

.598 Winning %

Surely this cannot continue…Right?

Completely false. Holgorsen continued to climb as he got more of his players- last five years improved from a 7 win per year average to 8 and above 8 the last 4 years. Kept WVU ranked with his players and finished in the playoff poll. Brown couldnt do anything with Holgorsens players or his own players. Everyone else sees it such as the coaching rank site I posted- Time for Brown lovers to admit Brown has not been a good choice and has performed far worse than their hated Holgorsen ever did.

That isn't true. His final 4 years he won 8, 10, 7, 8 games.

His first 4 years he won 10, 7, 4, 7

So he actually improved

Not a chance- Holgorsen was a winner at the P5 level and in the conference and for WVU. Brown has lost in all categories except for fleecing the university for millions and probably costing the AD his job.

Well being such a “winner” at the P5 level, wonder why he isn’t dominating G5 and being mentioned for several P5 openings?

All I know is what he did while at WVU. Why do you keep trying to deflect to Holgorsen when Brown is coaching WVU and doing a piss poor job of it? I mean you must have slandered and libeled Holgorsen 100 times, but you never mention the disaster Brown has been for WVU football. Why is that exactly? You realize Brown has been at WVU 4 years now right? That Brown coaches WVU?

Don’t know if either will but Brown isn’t going to do it at WVU- he can’t beat anyone but fcs teams so maybe he will achieve your fantasy in the fcs ranks. At the P5 level and for WVU Brown is awful in every category that matters.

Well jr. you’re the one who included Holgersen in your little post to begin with. If it upsets you or offends you so much, don’t bring Holgersen name up when you want to tear down the WVU football program. You remember how you whined that everyone supposedly ripped on Holgersen from day one (still waiting on your proof of that) hurt recruiting, destroyed several small African animal species, a large portion of the rain forest and increased global warming. Well you are doing exactly what you accuse others (without proof) of doing.

You must work for Nancy Polosi.

Holgorsen just gave up 77 points in a loss to a .500 SMU team.

His wins this year are against 2 CUSA teams a 4-5 Memphis, 3-6 Navy and 1-8 South Florida.

They have 3-6 Temple, 3-6 Tulsa and they play at 6-3 ECU. They didn't have worry about playing Cincinnati or UCF.

Brown has been a huge disappointment but if you wouldn't bring Dana up nobody would talk about him.
