According to the latest hot seat rankings, Dan has moved up to 20th on the list while Mack Brown is sitting at 33. I know these rankings are just some writers' opinions, but does anyone else think that is ridiculous? I am just curious to hear what people think.

Personally, I think it is silly. Mack Brown gets paid over double what Mullen makes and has almost unlimited resources at Texas. Not to mention UT just gave up 550 yards RUSHING to BYU this past weekend. Absolutely absurd. Thoughts ?

Should Dan be 20th? Probably not.

But after OK State, his seat is no longer as cool as the other side of the pillow.

Even if he misses a bowl game this year (at 5-7), he won't be fired. But his seat is getting warmer.

I agree with you that Mullen deserves some criticism, but I was really referring to the comparison with Mack Brown. Mack should be in the top 3 for this list.
