I think 6-6 looks reasonable next season.
I agree that 5-7 probably gets the Hat the axe.

The B1G is making boatloads of $$$ and Nebraska's share might be enough to justify a firing.

Top Coordinators in college football make over $2 million a year. I’m excited for us to get a coordinator worthy of that amount. I thought it would be Dana and still have hope for him next year with a different situation. So far, hasn’t worked out, but still light years ahead of Satterfield.

I don't see it as being any better than Satt.

So 70 year old Phil Snow is pulling in 416K as the "Associate HC". Glen Thomas 824K as QB coach. I'd love to see the annual job performance review (checklist) for both as well as Corey Campbell (1M). What the hell are they evaluated on? I'm getting tired of the MR "lounge act". It's time for this staff to earn their keep. I don't expect a Nat'l title or even a Title from the Big 10 but this product needs to improve in terms of eliminating mistakes on the field and with game time coaching. If you don't know how (MR) then call someone outside of your circle like Saben.

17 coaches, 18 if you count Rhule?? Insanity and seems like we're running a clown show or golden parachute retirement program more than we are a football program. If $20+ million coaching payroll doesn't at least result in a winning season next year, I think I'll be done following this program for awhile. Extremely tired of the fraud, waste, and abuse, and the gaslighting and lying to fans.

For soooooo long most fans bought into the BS of how many hours these guys worked and how hard the job was and blah blah blah. They sounded like firemen and female elementary teachers.

Of course as fans (or in the case of the other examples, as spouses), you believe them and totally start to feel for them because of all the "hard work" they are doing. If Matt can't figure out who to hire, which players to get and how to stop the run during an 8 hour work day, he is a ******* moron.

2024 Big Ten football assistant coaches' total salaries

Ohio State $11,425,000
Michigan $9,384,000
Oregon $8,295,000
Iowa $7,900,000
Washington $7,200,000
Michigan State $6,975,000
Nebraska $6,775,000
Indiana $5,935,000
Rutgers $5,750,000
Maryland $5,475,000
Wisconsin $5,375,000
Illinois $5,325,000
Purdue $4,965,000
UCLA $4,670,000
Minnesota $4,599,000

Didn't see an updated list for this season yet, so basically in the middle like recruiting and portal and spending. The two private schools and Penn State don't report numbers. I would assume Nebraska is 9th if you include USC and Penn State.

Add in Head Coach and we jump Michigan state, Iowa, and U dub. So top 5, cause of Brother Rhule.

Brother Rhule is about 55% of the payroll. That’s what con man do, take and take. Brother Rhule gets premium pay. He’s the one to lead us to salvation. praise the lord

Campbell is making $1 million. Is that the going rate for a S&C guy?

He makes more than Georgia and Ohio State's, I just picked two top teams to check. His current salary would be the 2nd highest paid strength coach in the country.
